The service was for the most part great except watch out for one of the attendants at breakfafast. Her name is marta and she'll snap at you for not speaking German

Not within walking distance to the center, but very close to the subway (Burgasse-Stadhalle stop). Don't stay there over the weekend--there was a club outside of my windows, I could hear the music; on weekdays it's quiet. Breakfast is extra charge, they don't tell you at the check-in, you have to ask.

Hotel should pay more attention to details related to comfort for the customer. The window blind could not be lowered, but good that the desk change us to another room.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 19 of 34Reasonable hotel
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Atlantis. The front desk personnel were extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The only drawback was that there were two buidings involved and our room was in the building that was four buidling away from the front desk. I think the regular price for the rooms are too high, but we had a discounted room and that was reasonable. It is located about 10 blocks from the WestBahnHof and one block from the underground.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 20 of 34The rooms are huge...
I spent 4 nights at this hotel. It is located next to a small shopping mall and within one block from the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and Strassenbahn. The rooms in this hotel are huge. My room had a living room with an extra TV and small refrigerator. The Bathroom was also big. The Toilet was really something else... nothing wrong... just a different design... The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. Definitely recommended.

The rooms were not horrible but they were far from the pictures that they posted in hotels.com. Te rooms on the pics are the "executive" rooms which are far more expensive than the rest of the rooms. Parking was 12 euros a day :(.

Trip Type: Family Review 23 of 34Friendly staff; comfortable and convenient
Two separate two-night stays in a week were enjoyable. The front desk staff are among the most friendly and helpful I have ever encountered. The location is convenient, near both an underground station and a tram station. It's about a 25 minute brisk walk to the inner ring next to the Volksgarten. They have a nice breakfast, but we were caught off-guard when it wasn't included in our rate because it was pretty expensive. We were on a smoking floor on our second two nights, and the smoke drifted pretty noticeably into our room.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 24 of 34Atlantis hotel Vienna - Great location
My wife and I found this hotel to be quite simple yet sufficient to meet our needs. It is located very near metro line and bus lines. The hotel staff was friendly and good. They are in the middle of a renovation and we expect it will be even better after the renovation. One negative - no microwave in the rooms, something we found throughout europe..

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 25 of 34Nice Hotel for the money
I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Atlantis. The only two areas of improvement would be that the room was warm; it would have been nice to be able to turn on the air conditioner. The other was, "black out" curtains would have been nice (our room faced east and the sun was bright at 6:30 AM). On the positive side: The room was very clean and QUIET. There was a nice breakfast, if a bit pricey. Also, you are only two blocks from the underground. I recommend the hotel put directions to the hotel and perhaps a map showing how to find the hotel on their website (for example, from Autobahn A1). All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 27 of 34Good room for the money
The hotel is not a 4-star as I expected from reading earlier reviews. It pretty much met my expectations. The room is good for the price. We wanted an inexpensive place to act as a base to visit Vienna, especially its downtown. The location is just perfect for that. It is very close to a train/subway station, only 1 to 2 blocks away. We love traveling by trains. So it was great for us. The nearby area was also pretty OK. There isn't much to see nearby. But I certainly didn't feel "unsafe" or anything described in some earlier reviews. The staff weren't super-warm & friendly but they were helpful, professional and courteous like all the other service people I encountered in Vienna. They courteously met all of our requests. We broke our Vienna trip in half, staying at the hotel at 2 different periods of time. The first time, we stayed at their new building with all brand-new rooms. The new room was spacious, clean and quite comfortable (and with a nice flat screen TV). The only complain we had was that the new rooms aren't in the same building as the concierge (in the old building). It does make things just a bit more difficult. We have to always walk to the older building if we needed anything from the concierge or use the free internet in the lobby. The two buildings are on each end of a small block. But it's not far away from each other with any measure. For the second part of the trip, we stayed at the older building in an older room. Advantage is of course, closer to services - concierge, restaurant, and public/free-internet computer. But of course, the room is much much smaller. All the amenities are older. It isn't uncomfortable though and the room itself is kept up very well. Another thing I didn't like was that there isn't easy or free internet access in the room (no wireless). The lobby has free Wi-Fi access and a public computer with free internet access. So it wasn't that big a deal. But as someone who enjoys surfing in her free time, it would've b

This was a good hotel for the price. Hotel lobby and hotel rooms in seperate building, accessed outside. To town you needed to take the tube or bus, I didn't know that. Worked out well.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 29 of 34Excellent room for the money
It was my first trip to Vienna and I chose this hotel because I got a good rate..My room was an exacutive double which i found to be very comfortable and nice ,room was large and modern looking and everything inside was spotless and very clean as far as the services I found front desk staff friendly and nice I just hope the management of this hotel do something with breakfast which I is very basic and limited. Europe is known for its nice breakfasts I was a bit miffed seeing only a coffee machine with a basket of bread next to it..besides this minor issue its a good hotel for singles and tourists.
