Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel

great location, great price

Great location for the price. Rooms were small but comfortable. We were on the balcony or beach most of the time. Walked easily to beach, food, shopping.

great Location

This is an older hotel, so nothing fancy at all. However, the view was great, the location excellent,right across from the beach and close to both high and low end shopping. The beds were comfortable but the rooms were very basic.It had a refrigerator. No restaurant but plenty close by. Limited parking spaces.Friendly staff.

Motel of last century

This hotel feels just like a motel, or even worse. Room is very small. The shower place is unthinkably tiny. I never known there is shower of this size. You can hardly turn your body inside. Its own parking lot is tiny too. So I have to park my car in a parking garage of another hotel 10 minutes away, which is really annoying. Sound isolation is terrible. I was waken up by the noise of elevator early every morning.

Pay more for what you get

This hotel needs updating. We were on the third floor and it was dark and depressing facing a better hotel and not the beach. Reserve a room in the uppermost floors and you will enjoy it more. The bathroom is very tiny and the shower curtain blows out and gets water all over the floor. But seriously, you didn't go to Hawaii to spend your vacation time in a hotel room, right? Street noise starts at 5 am.

get what you paid for. . .or a little less

Hotel is old, and is maintained in a "band-aid" sort of fashion. Desk service was less than helpful or friendly. Parking was a great price, but very limited. . .everytime we left we wondered if there'd be a spot when we got back. On the bright side. . .the condition of the room did encourage us to stay on the beach and out exploring the island.

Great Hotel

Great location, great value. The view from our balcony was outstanding. Access to the beach was easy and quick. We had a great stay and will go back. The room is simple but we spent very little time inside. We were either on the beach, walking Waikiki or on the balcony. The beds were comfortable and we slept well.

Great room for the money

The location was great! The price was very reasonable. We paid for ocean view and they upgraded us to ocean front. It's right across the street from Wakiki beach. Can rent surf boards right out front. We could walk to everything we needed. The rooms are very small and the shower reminds me of a cruise ship - it's that little, but we knew this from other comments before we came. The room was clean. NO bugs!!! They have a great equipment exchange where you can borrow boogie boards, beach chairs... and they do have beach towels available. We had 2 adults and 2 kids so a little tight if you're there to do more than clean up and sleep. Overall, for this location and price it's something I would return to as long as you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room.

great money for the room

Tiny bathroom, shower so small one cannot lift both arms at same time.Stayed one night and they tried to bill me for 2 nights parking. When I got home,that same evening, there was an ad on t. v. offering FREE parking for that very hotel. One one think that might have been covered for a guest on that very day. The hotel is not soundproof and you can hear every door slam and inconsiderate visitor talking in the hallway. On the good side, the place is clean and convenient to Waikiki beach. but I would find another place to stay.

Needs Improvement

Room was a little small.Didn' Like the hidden parkin fee.

Great Room for the money

Stayed in a partial ocean room with our two adult sons. Although quarters were tight, for four days it was fine and quiet. I used a VIP pass to 24 Fitness nearby and showered there after exercising. The staff was wonderful!

I enjoyed sitting on the balony and watching the surfers.

Great value for the money

If your needs are a comfortable bed this is the place to stay. There aren't any extra frills but the location can't be beat, the staff is helpful, the morning coffee and paper are appreciated. With the beach just across the street and the views from the lanai you can't go wrong. The rooms aren't the most spacious but you aren't in the room except to change and sleep so it wasn't a problem at all even after two weeks, we would definitely stay there again.
