Trip Type: Family Review 16 of 262Outstanding
Admittedly our room with a beach view has one of the best views on Waikiki and we could see past Pearl Harbor to Diamond Head from our balcony. Near the end of the business district this room was actually a reasonable quiet room considering it was looking over the street. If you want real quiet in Hawaii, go to another island. The elevators were high tech but simple to use and created less crowding. Everything was clean, all the staff were polite and the morning breakfasts were convenient and tasted fine every day for the week we stayed there. Trips/excursions were planned quickly and easily at the hotel. I don't know anything I'd change.

Trip Type: Business Review 17 of 262Wow!
This is a fine hotel..... clean and nice rooms, friendly staff, elevators work great, morning meals are easy and nice, ....I can't think of anything that wasn't nearly "perfect" If you make more than $500,00 a year maybe this won't fit your ego but I loved it and look forward to my return. I do recommend the rooms with the ocean view: best view in Waikiki.

A clean crib was provided for my baby.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 19 of 262Conveniently located
We only stayed 1 night here on our return from another island. I did prefer this hotel over the last one we stayed at in Waikiki. The elevator system was totally inconvenient but I understand they are in the process of a major renovation of the system. Once this is finished, I think it would be fine. We got the package that includes breakfast but you can find breakfast for much cheaper within walking distance. Plus they use a lot of containers which creates a lot of waste.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 22 of 262Great room for the money
Rooms were very comfortable and all with a partial ocean view from outside patio.) (Unless you book the full ocean view rooms). Check in was a bit combersome, due the fact that the front desk is on the second floor above the parking area. Also, it took some getting used to the high tech elevator system which uses a scanner & I.D. card to activate which elevator is going to your floor. Overall, it was a good experience with the hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 23 of 262Needs Improvement
My second mistake, after booking this place for a three day business trip, was expecting that the price tag would correlate with the accommodations and service. I was sorely disappointed, and if not for the no-refund policy, I would've moved to another hotel. The staff I encountered was friendly and helpful- but stretched too thin to be adequate. My bathroom wasn't clean upon arrival and a request to have it cleaned was never fulfilled. There was a loud vibrating noise coming out of the bathroom and an engineer assured me that it was just part of the plumbing, and that it's an old system. He suggested I close the bathroom door while trying to sleep. The parking situation is expensive and inconvenient, mostly due to low staffing and limited space. Don't bother with the "breakfast on the beach," it's a joke. The view is stunning, but beach views are plentiful in Waikiki. Stay elsewhere.

Trip Type: Romance Review 24 of 262Convenient location; solid hotel.
Nothing too fancy, but good for the money. Probably best feature is location on Waikiki Beach. One-way road access to hotel is a bit confusing, but once you mess it up once you figure it out. Stadard rooms are not large, but sufficient. Staff was courteous and gave us a free partial ocean view upgrade. Could have been because hotel was not too full. One issue is the bizzare elevator situation. You need to take a small elevator down to the valet service. No direct elevator down there from the rooms. It gets crowded. We didn't like paying $22 per day for valet service either, but that's Waikiki.

Trip Type: Romance Review 26 of 262Incredible...
We had an ocean front room as requested just off the pool and the sunrises were spectacular. The hotel staff were polite, professional and friendly. We will most certainly return to this hotel in the future. Living in New York makes Hawaii a long trip but once we arrived at our hotel we went into our relaxed and just enjoy this piece of paradise.

Trip Type: Romance Review 27 of 262Good location, loud area
Hotel has many pluses such as location. Don't expect a quiet nights sleep as patio door does not block any sound. Breakfast was very inconsistant from good to non-existant which depended on the day. Room was very clean.

Good location. The breakfast was a little iffy. Every thing was packaged. Beach was Great. Good snorkeling right out front. We had a partial ocean view which was great.

Trip Type: Family Review 29 of 262Great location and nice surrounding for family vacation.
A family with kids should consider this hotel as the great choice to stay. The beach is just cross the street and surround area is very nice all time.

Good location to the beach - across the street. Friendly staff to help. Most buses and tours stop in front of the hotel or across the street at the Marriott. Parking kind of expensive if you have a rental car. We rented one for the last two days to drive around the rest of the island.
