Overall it was was a nice experience but my daughter-in-law got her clothes stolen. She also overheard a lady commenting to management that her money was stolen. It is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location on a beatuiful island. It is a nice place to stay but lock your suitcases.

Trip Type: Family Review 19 of 42Great location, outdated room
We stayed here for 3 nights total (2 @ beginning and 1 @ end) of our 2.5 week vacation to Hawaii. It was a great location (right on the Kaanapali beach) and they upgraded us to bigger rooms both times at no charge. The first room was one of their 2 bedroom/loft options which was really nice and afforded great beach-front views. The second was a 1 bedroom with a huge patio, but was suffering from a dreadful case of the '80s throughout and not much of a view. The main hotel was nice, but nothing special. The main pool was fun for the kids and a nice place to hang out by the edge of the beach. Since we didn't stay in the actual room we paid for I can't accurately judge the "studio" room, but given the brief views I saw of some ground-floor rooms I'd use caution when booking to ensure you have a non-ground floor room (their "patios" were nothing more than the sidewalk). The on-site laundry facilities were useful, but it was a pain having to drag our laundry to another building/dig for quarters/etc. I'd consider staying again but only for a short stay unless I knew that I could get a 1 or 2 bedroom condo for the duration.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 20 of 42NOT a 4 star hotel!!
If you get a condo - its nice. Their hotel rooms are in the rear on the highway - very noisy and quite honestly crap.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 22 of 42Not as good as it seems online
the corridor was very dirty. the bedding was not clean and had stains on it. the bathroom was ok but overall the property had the look of a below average motel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 24 of 42Good deal
The location, hotel restaurant and beach were really great! We had free Mai Tai's in the lobby upon arrival on a Friday afternoon. Parking wasn't abundant but somehow we always managed to find a spot and the room was nice and big except for a roach that we found after being out for a few hours. Coming from Florida we know that they exist but we'd rather not see any while we're vacationing!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 26 of 42On a great coral beach
... but they put us in a room next to new swimming pool and garden construction. Forget about midday nap

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 27 of 42Good Room in a great area
This hotel was a little older and pricy but it is in a great area. The pool was great, the grounds were well kept and pretty, and being close to the beach was really nice. The restaurant was difficult to get to with their hours and then we were not able to take our drinks to where we could see the beach so that was a little disappointing. Overall, it was nice and the hotel staff at the front desk were exceptional.

Trip Type: Romance Review 28 of 42Lots of room-great for two couples or family
The hotel was very nice. The pool well-kept and clean, rightr near beach. Shuffle board was great fun. Tennis courts next door-can rent rackets and use courts-reasonable rates. Condo was quite large - tv in both living room and bedroom. Very large bathroom. Kitchen was great-all working! All around great value for the money!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 29 of 42Unfortunately..
I was only at this hotel for 4 nights as I was in Maui for a friend's wedding and spent most of my time off grounds at other hotels. However, for the rate I paid and for the size room I received, I was happy with the accommodations. Further, it was quiet and convenient to everything close by.
