Great room for the money

Beautiful one bedroom accommodations, with full kitchen, granite counters and stainless steal appliances. All for the price of an inexpensive hotel room. Many personal touches. only stayed one night but would have been happy there for a week.

I booked a 7-night stay at the Kaanapali Shores for my wife and I and our infant daughter from Hotels.com. I didn't have a huge budget, yet wanted to get the best thing I could afford for my family. I opted for the 1 bedroom "limited view" room. When we checked into the hotel the receptionist informed me we'd been upgraded to the garden view room. The room was much bigger then we expected. Everything was clean and new and the hotel grounds were immaculate. There are two pools and a well landscaped garden area. We requested a crib for our daughter yet ended up not using it because the bed was so massive. The staff was courteous and helpful and the location was central to everything we needed. It was convenient to have a market across the street (beware the high cost of groceries though!). The beach was nice but not great for snorkeling. I will definitely be staying here when I come back. Garden view was nice, so was the 1st floor convenience.

Very nice place to stay

The Aston Kaanapali Shores is a very nice place to stay. The building, rooms, and pool area are very clean and well maintained. Unlike other places nearby, there was plenty of beach area with available beach chairs on the hotel property. Wifi was good, and complimentary! The only downside for us was having to pay for the parking. Other than that, a great place to stay at a reasonable price!

nice hotel

this is a nice hotel. got a little lost trying to find it the first time. we got upgraded to a 2/2. it is very clean, services are good. had lunch from the restaurant by the pool a couple times - it was good. drinks are spendy $7.50 each, and quality depends on the bartender - Annie was the best. the little store is convient check prices some are good and some are overpriced - the pearl knecklaces were priced at $30 there but $15 downtown, that was the case for lots of stores, check around before buying, pools nice, beach was nice - waves were a little strong for my taste

Great suite for the money

This hotel suite was more than expected. They upgraded my suite from a one bedroom to a two bedroom garden view suite. Well, it was actually ocean view. When looking out the living room doors there was a view of the ocean. The rooms were very spacious and large. There was a lot of room for my son and I. The hotel crew were always courteous and helpful. The beach was just a minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again.

Great room for the money

Wonderful location, gorgeous beach, the studio we had was large, spacious, bed, was very comfortable, the garden view was wonderful, the kitchen fully equipped.

great place to stay

our room had a beautiful kitchen that was very handy. we had a beautiful view of the ocean sitting in the living room, kitchen or the balcony. It was so peaceful and comfortable. We felt at home.
