Cheaper alternative place to stay in Aspen.

This is a cheaper alternative to stay in Aspen at a minimum of $30 a night less, you could have one extra meal out! Yet for $30 a night more you could stay in a nicer hotel.

Good room for the money

The room was just fine, but we would have enjoyed a kingsize bed instead of a queen.

Great Value

We liked everything about our room except for the worn out bed. The mattress needs replacement to something more firm. The proximity to the town center made for an easy walk. Would like to stay at this hotel again but I would certainly need reassurance that they replaced all those soft, worn out mattresses.

Great value in Aspen

We went to Aspen for a concert...it only took 10 minutes to walk to Harris Hall and 10 to walk to the restaurant and pedestrian mall area..the people at the hotel were friendly, the free breakfast was good, the bed was comfy. Good value for the price. We will go back for sure!

Decent

Not the friendliest of staff... for the money it was fine, I mean we are talking Aspen prices anyway!

Nice room for the money

We expected a bit more on the inside since of the outside of the hotel is landscaped so nicely. The front desk person was incredibly nice and accomodating. This is a good place to stay for a brief visit or if you do not plan on spending anytime in your room. The rooms could use updating and our mattress had seen better days. Overall it worked just fine for a brief stay, but I think with some improvements for the price we could be tempted to stay longer.

Water on Bathroom floor

The hotel was acceptable, except there was water leaking from the toilet on to the bathroom floor and the room smelled musty from the leak.

European style with nice staff

I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and comfort of the Aspen Mountain Lodge. The staff was extremely courteous, helpful, and made my stay quite pleasant. The amenities were nice. The location is not right down town, but it doesn't come with a down town price, it's about a 10 minute walk. The bus line stops right in front of the hotel, and is free from the airport, so don't worry about a shuttle, rental car, or cab.

great room for the money!!!

Everything was great. Breakfast was over at 9:30 which I thought was a little early, but other than that, it was an awesome place to stay. I will definately return on my next visit to Aspen!!

Good experience - great Service & Hospitality

complimentary 'lite' Breakfast & After Ski snacks in evening were good. wish Jacuzzi was indoors even though others seemed to be enjoying the outdoor hot tub. Eric at the service desk was best part of the trip - he provided detailed information. Great Ribs restaurant is 2 blocks walk. overall Good experience.
