    This is actually a motel so cars drive right up to your door/window, which was a surprise to me. I was traveling alone and put on the ground floor which weirded me out a little, but I also did not want to carry all of my luggage up a flight of stairs. The room was clean, the bed, mostly comfortable. Half of the staff was REALLY nice, but I left items in the room and it was a big hassle for them to get sent to me - I wound up NOT getting my items before I left the country and was pretty annoyed. If it weren't for two staff being so nice, I would have rated this motel a lot lower.

    Very satisfied with the location, room size and service. The rooms we stayed in don't have carpet and it makes them a little more cold, but the people were great. Very helpful.

Location. Aspect Central is located in Cairns, Australia, one kilometer from the city center and the Esplanade Waterfront Foreshore. Cairns Airport is three kilometers from the hotel.

Hotel Features. Aspect Central offers a reef-style outdoor pool and a waterfall rimmed with rock and decorated with rock and sea shell inlay. The hotel restaurant and bar serves local and international cuisine and seafood during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. Room service is provided during limited hours. The hotel also includes a poolside bar and poolside dining. The hotel includes a business center, and high-speed wired and wireless Internet access is offered in public areas for a fee. The hotel also includes a guest laundry, dry cleaning service, a video library, a patio, a picnic area and discounted guest access to a nearby fitness center. Secure parking is complimentary. Smoking is not permitted in hotel public areas or guestrooms. Pets are not permitted in the hotel.

Guestrooms. The two-story hotel's 36 guestrooms (no elevator) offer contemporary décor and ceramic tile floors. Amenities include high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, television-based Internet access, cable and satellite television, desks and safes.
