Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 334better security
The room was clean and comfortable. very convenient location. The only problem we had was our car got broken into in the hotel parking lot. There is security there, but that didn't seem to help out car from getting broken into. The hotel could have offered us a free night stay or free dinner for the trauma we went through.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 334Great value
The hotel was pretty much what you would expect on a budget in Vegas. The room was clean. The beds were not queen size and were very uncomfortable for two people to share. The showerhead/water pressure sucked! The pool was too cold for nov. swimming but the hot tub was pretty good. There was no breakfast but thats expected in Vegas. The grounds need a good power wash.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 334Great room for the money
Have been coming to Vegas for last 10 years. Have been staying at Arizonia Charlie's for last 3 years. The staff is the friendliest of any resort I have stayed in. Rooms are spacious very clean. Pool is nice. Food is good and inexpensive. Only 5 miles from downtown and the strip.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 334Can't Beat the Price - as long as you don't need taxis
Probably the best value to dollar ration I've spent on a hotel since the 90's. Nice hotel. Rooms are not smokey (the casino is). The grounds are well kept. The only issue I had is that taxis will not come to this part of town. I had asked the front desk how long it would take and she assured me no more than 45 minutes. She rang our room after 30 minutes and said to be up at valet area in 5 minutes. Thirty minutes after that - still no cab. Watched three empty cabs drive right by the hotel. Ended up paying someone coming out of the casino to drive us to the airport. Upon returning, I spoke with a desk manager-y person who told me that they call two cab companies and whomever shows up gets us. When I expressed my anger, he admitted that no cabs will ever show up unless someone has taken a cab to the hotel/casino. I just ended it with: be honest - just tell us and we'll make other plans. Don't make us wait thinking that something is coming. If you have a car though - this would have been a perfect experience

I like that the rooms are in small groupings separate from the casino and are spacious.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 334Pretty place, nice RV park too. Great Value!!
Spent two nights at AZ Charlie's and had a great time. They upgraded me to a suite and it was nice. Food at the buffet was very adequate and priced right also. Be sure and get one of their comp cards for the discounts. I walked thru the RV park and it was very nice. I will stay here when I buy my RV. The staff was very helpful and the location is easy to find and the "strip" is not that far away.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 334Good deal for the money.
My wife and I attended an event at nearby Sam Boyd Stadium and chose this hotel based on location and the fact that we've stayed here before with no problems. Like before, we didn't have any problems. When we originally booked the reservation we asked for a deluxe room w/ a king bed. Upon arriving at the check-in desk they had us down for a room with two double beds. I politely said that we had requested a deluxe king room and without any problems were given a deluxe king room, albeit grudgingly. It's a great place. It has a decent casino with a small variety of restaurants and great buffet. It's all right there; you don't have to leave. They also have security guards on patrol 24 hours a day. Would we stay here again? Yes, definitely.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 334Good alternative to the strip...
Rooms were decent and roomy. Great if you don't want to be in the middle of the Vegas congestion.

Several good things stand out for me about this hotel. One is that I can get to my room without going through the casino. The rooms are separate from the casino. Hence, no cigarette smoke, not caching, caching or the whole casino noise. I have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past and the only thing I found to complain about is that the hotel changed soaps. They switched to an eco friendly version and it's awful. I'd recommend bringing your own soap. I had my own shampoo but tried the eco friendly stuff and it was awful too. I hope next year they use something else. It's commendable to use something good for the environment but there has to be something out there that is better than what they are using.
