Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 9Highly Overrated
This hotel has recently been remodeled so it is clean and modern. That is the positive part. Unfortunately, the area is the "wrong" end of the beach and the neighborhood is rough and full of thieves and pickpockets. The hotel provides no bell captain or concierge service and the desk staff speaks little English. There is no help available, to include lack of carts, for luggage. The restaurant is adequate but not special in any way. The hotel is certainly not 4 star.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 9nice, but not what I expected
Balcony was not shared, but you can see the people around you. Beach was rocky. The area seemed residential but had a nice boardwalk. Hotel itself and staff were helpful and we definately enjoyed our stay. Make sure you only get the ocean view rooms, the other rooms look straight into apartment buildings.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 9Modern but somewhat cold
The hotel is very new, spotless and quite comfortable, however it is located in a somewhat shabby neighborhood. It does have a beautiful view of the sea if you are lucky enough to get one of those rooms -- we did not and instead had a close-up view of the shabby buildings behind the hotel. The hotel staff seemed indifferent and cold. They were helpful with the basics but not very warm or welcoming. Given the price of the hotel, I expected more. There was a good restaurant located nearby at the marina.

Great value, ocean front, walk to marina shops and dining. Small but ocean view work out area. Close to airport.

Wonderfully situated on the Mediterranean and boardwalk marina. Swim out your front door or watch the sun set from your balcony. The hotel reception arranged a wonderful and superb seafood dinner at the "Orange Garden" - the owner even picked us up in his Range Rover. Just incredible dinner - comment on how you want to buy their signature platter with the oranges and they will know we sent you! The prosecco provided on arrival is just a hint of the class this restaurant and owner both have.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 9As a Last Minute Booking
Hotel over priced for barely comfortable room but horrible service. Can't rely on shuttle van and front desk staff as they are clearly not interested in the quality of your stay. However, bus service to the central Ostia train station is reliable but you have to venture a short walk to the street behind the hotel to catch. Front staff consistently acted as though they resented us asking questions about getting around the area. Fortunately, we were only at this hotel for one night.
