Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 17 of 38A little worn
This hotel needs some updating. The room was dinky, but the service at the front desk was friendly and the location is superb. For the price, it was an ok deal.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 19 of 38Good Location, Horrible Accomodations
My mom and I travel from California to Oahu about 2-3 times a year for much needed girls vacations. We decided to stay at this hotel because it is central and right across from the beach. The Location is great and that is about all I can say that is positive about the hotel. There is one elevator that looks like it used to be a service elevator, the room looks like a hostel, the room was the size of a shoe box, and the bed was HORRIBLE. We ended up putting towels done to make up for the lack of bed. The body impressions on the bed made you disappear when you layed down. We woke up sore and grumpy every morning and relied on naps on the beach to catch up on sleep. I would never recommend this hotel and the cab driver we had back to the airport even said that everyone he picks up from this hotel complains and swears they will never stay their ever again. Lesson Learned!

Trip Type: Family Review 20 of 38Ideal Location
The rooms are small and older, but the location is perfect on Waikiki There's a Cheesecake Factory just down the block and other sights to see. If you need a fancy hotel, this is not the place for you. However, if you have lots you want to do in Waikiki and Honolulu at a reasonable price stay here. There is a morning coffee, fruit and rolls (not as good as previous years, but acceptable)which is a good deal for Hawaii. They have beach mats to borrow and take across the street to the great beach location.

Price was affordable, staff was friendly and location was perfect - right across from the beach.

our room had a funky sell to it ... something that I can describe as a mildew type of smell. Also, the carpet was stained, which somehow is a little disturbing. other than that, everything was perfect. if you have a air freshner and a pair of sleepers at home, just bring them with you. Price was great. Location was incredible.

Trip Type: Family Review 28 of 38Across The Street From The Beach, Literally!
The bad: renovations seem to be going on forever; the receptionist's shirt was very dirty and they "try" to charge you extra cash (about $18) for parking. But it seems that all hotels do that (extra cash for parking). The good: the hotel is just across the street from Waikiki Beach and it has a great view of the ocean and the beach as well. The hotel is close to everything as well. I think is the best hotel with the best view for the price.

Good price and Great location!! If you need a place to stay and aren't planning on spending too much time in the hotel. Everything is within walking distance..there isn't a pool, however Waikiki beach is right across the street LITERALLY! Just make sure to ask for the room with the view because the otherside of the hotel is a brick wall which is fine if you don't plan on spending much time in your room. The staff was VERY nice and funny..overall a great stay..comfortable but the hotel is doing maintenance. I would stay there again and recommend it if you're looking to save money.

Trip Type: Romance Review 30 of 38Not worth the money.
Hotel was in complete disrepair. Areas were boarded up. Walls and ceilings were damaged and in need of repair/painting. Carpets were filthy. Furnishings were dated and worn out. Bedding was tattered and mattresses needed replacing. The continental breakfast was nothing more than some small muffins, coffee and juice. The bathroom was a shambles; the sink faucets leaked, the drain stopper didn't work, the shower door would not close completely so water leaked out onto the floor. The owners of this property should be ashamed. It should be closed and completely renovated.
