Great Room for the Money

I was a little apprehensive of the quality of the hotel because of the cheap price I paid, but I was very surpised and satisfied to find it was in good condition! This hotel is definitely worth the money.

Good room for money

Good hotel for quick convienance downtown! I wanted to spend my birthday on 6th street and didnt want to spend a fortune on a hotel just for one night. Good, convienant location, staff was very friendly throughout our stay. Room did smell like smoke, but a freshener fixed that. Other than that you pay for what you get and I was happy with what I got.

Good value

Very clean and comfortable. My only complaint would have been the prostitute and her client several rooms down from me. But that's probably not fair as they were quiet and didn't bother me. I would stay here again for business. Probably not if I had my family with me.

Unbelievable!

I was in Austin for a conference, and I thought that I would go find the hotel while at lunch. I got to the hotel, they let me check in 2 hours early to a room that was not cleaned at all. Yikes! I thought I walked into someone else room. I freaked out, and immediately closed the door. They asked me to wait for the room to be clean. I said, "NO". I need another room so I can get back to my conference. Gave me another room without informing me of where it was located. Finally, got in the room that smelled like smoke, Gross! I was afraid, because of the number of people that was hanging out near by. I could hear anyone and everyone talking right outside my door, freaked me out. I was so happy to have made it through the night and to get out of there the next morning.

Great room for the money

The location is good, only a few minutes from downtown, which I liked. The staff was friendly and they checked me in quickly. The room was clean and the carpet seemed new. I really liked the extra sheets on the bed, it made it much more comfy. They have a free light breakfast, but I never tried it. That's cool. Every little bit helps these days. It was pretty-ok, and I was happy to save a few dollars too. I would recommend it for a traveler or a couple.

Man...what can I say?

You get what you pay for here. On a good note, my truck was still in the parking lot when I got up the next morning and nobody got shot during the time I spent there.

Good room for the money!

This was a very nice hotel for the money we paid. It was really close to downtown and had an IHOP next door. The room seemed very clean and the surrounds seemed safe. Myself and my friend are both females and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. There are tons of other hotels next to this one as well. My only complaint would be that if you stay longer than one day, which we did, they do not clean your room or anything. We had to request towels, trash bags, and toilet paper from the front office and had repeatedly asked them to clean the room. They never did clean it but they did give us towels each time we went to the office to complain. We left three bags of trash outside the door and they never picked it up the whole time we were there. The staff there is horrible. But the room itself was good for the small amount of money we paid.

Exceptional for the price

We enjoyed our stay at Americas best value inn Austin central. We shared a great weekend with our daughter at UTexas very comfortable bed and very good breakfast, will book again when we return to Austin..............

Best value for the money

You pay less money, but get a good room. Nothing special, but clean, comfortable and very good value for the price.Highly recommendable.

Room for improvement

I have stayed at this hotel many times. I was more dissatisfied this time then usual. I booked the room for Friday & Saturday night, on Saturday after climbing the stairs to get to my room discovered neither 1 of my keys worked, had to go back down to the office to get it fixed. When I left my room Saturday morning to leave for the day, I told housekeeping which was 2 rooms down from mine, that I would be gone so please clean the room, when I returned around 5:00 nothing was touched, called the office they had house keeping come to the room to clean it & the lady had a attitude about it. Then about 2:00am on Sunday the drunks started banging on my room door, this 1 has happened to me before there & it is very aggrevating, especially seeing I have children.
