Shady Neighborhood-Smelly Room

When we checked into the motel we found that it had an environment of "watch your belongins". Our room was between two other rooms that housed several males who were drinking beer, telling loud jokes, and cooking food in a small charcoal grill. We did not want to move our car for fear of not having it close by so we walked to a small fast food place for supper. We purchased an air freshner to kill the stale smoke smell and other others in the room.We returned to our room and had to listen to the loud laughter until about 11 PM. I would check on my car still being there several times during the night. We left early in the morning. It was way over-priced for a dive like that.
