Great room for the money

great location

Mixed bag

On the positive side: The hotel is only a block from an entrance to the A440, giving easy access both to Quebec City proper and to Montmorency Falls, the Ile d'Orleans, and points north. The mattress, although very firm, were also VERY comfortable. We slept quite well and woke rested each morning. There are two restaurants in the hotel and several more within a block or less. The hotel is on a major street, but it never seemed to have much traffic while we were there. Free wireless Internet service. On the negative side: Even though it is a non-smoking hotel, our room smelled of smoke. You often have to walk past a group of smokers huddled by the front door to enter the hotel. The hotel seems to have seen better days - it looked a little run-down (not nearly as nice as the pictures on the website). Room decor was an odd mix of very contemporary furnishings and very dated ones. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so the mirror always fogged when the shower was run. No free breakfast.

the hotel was easy to find, had some good restaraunts in the area...we have no complaints about the hotel and enjoyed the convenience of being of being so close to quebec city...our only issue was with parking in the city and should have either taken a cab or public transportation when we went into town...really enjoyed or day at Montmorency Falls,enjoyed the aquarium and enjoyed walking around old quebec..

great hotel for price

The hotel was very clean, the rooms were pretty modern inside and it was reasonably priced. It was only a 5 minute drive into quebec city. I would stay here again.

Good value for the money

Got a great rate through hotels.com so can't complain about this hotel at all, although the somewhat noisy A/C system was at times disconcerting.

Good value

Hotel is located close to the Montmorency falls and the old city is about 10 mins drive from the hotel. Hotel was good, rooms were comfortable. Only issue was that the non-smoking room given to me was full of smell of smoke. So we had to get it changed - hotel staff promptly changed the room.
