brand new, funky contemporary, needs fine tuning

newness, cleanliness, cool-factor are all great here. the design of front desk and breakfast service leaves some room fro improvement, however. while a neat change from a traditional hotel, I wouldn't recommend it for multi-day business stays. hall and room-to-room noise and front desk lack of information on, e.g., local public transportation options make it difficult to give Aloft higher marks.

Love this place, have only spent one night here since finding the place, but it will be my home base in San Antonio.

Great Room, but needs more attention to detail

The room was very modern, but the beds and shower is seperated by a glass wall and the cleaners missed what looked to be spit or something running down the window, We changed rooms immediately..... you never know especially with those dateline shows.

The definition of "budget boutique." Room was comfy and clean (has a definite modern European feel), good location (plenty of restaurants/shopping nearby), and the lounge area/bar wasn't bad either. Staff was also friendly and professional. Only complaint was that our shower had soft water. If you come in expecting three-star service, you'll be completely satisfied. Note: We got a pretty good deal, but would pay regular price for another stay.

Holy cow

This hotel was awesome. Seriously great hotel. Pretty convenient location, helpful staff, really cool style, comfy beds, our room had a flat screen hdtv, which you don't find for the price we paid. amazing hotel.

Highly Recommend

Aloft is a modern and fun hotel concept. From the lounge feel of the lobby, to the convenient kiosks for check in (with a concierge nearby to assist if you are not technically inclined), to the Scandanvian furniture and loft design of the room... this place excited the senses while providing great comfort and value.

Great Hotel

The receptionist at first weren't very helpful, but other than that the stay at the hotel was great. It was well cleaned and found it unique from other hotels.

Great Room for the Money

I almost wished I could stay another night, but I had to work the next day! The room was beautiful; I loved the modern, youthful vibe of the hotel and staff (the bartender was a little surly, but that's okay). I have changed all my future work travel reservations to Aloft hotels. Thanks!

Modern Hotel

A very modern hotel, a great feeling with the room. The only thing that I did not like is the elevator noise in my room and I was two rooms over from them.

Very Modern

Staying at Aloft Hotel was fun, exquisite and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful. The room was hip and modern. The bar inside the hotel was entertaining. The location was great, there were restaurants, stores, a mall to tour. Ovewrall, the stay was worth it and I woulod definitely go back there and recommend to anyone else.
