Outstanding Hotel

Was a very modern hotel. Being a younger guy I appreciated the atmosphere more than I think and older crowd would. Great room for the money.

Hip and Comfortable, But Seriously Flawed

Door to toilet has not lock and doesn't even shut fully.

Hotel from the 21st century

Being a young adult, most hotels i would stay at would be comfortable for an older person. This hotel met and exceeded my expectations. As soon as i entered the building everything was modern from the way you check in to the way you can get food there. There was an onsite bar so you don't even need to leave the building, you can get a couple of drinks and just head back to your room. They had free wi-fi across the whole hotel, and you can relax by the fireplace in the lobby or play pool. Now the lobby itself was not as impressive as the room. The room had all the latest amenities. When walking into the room, everything was neat and just wonderful. I hate to keep on repeating myself with using the term modern, but it reminds me of new apartments going up with the latest in technology and amenities. They had a sliding mirror door as the bathroom door. Very nice shower and walking into the bedroom, you have a 42 inch flat screen hdtv as well as multiport hookup to plug in an hd dvd player or game system. The bed was also very comfortable. It may be a lil bit more than other hotels but i would highly recommend it.

If you have not tried ALOFT - you need to!

This is a great hotel chain that is modern, comfortable and a great value. Finally, a modern room with no tacky wallpaper!

Modern Design on the Cheap

The hotel's sleek, modern minimalism and neon lights are geared to appeal to my demographic -- the young and hip. It does a good job of this from a distance, but we found that the decor and furnishings are on the cheap side, the rooms are noisy at night, and you're nickel-and-dimed on conveniences that are often included in your room rate at other hotels -- a cup of coffee in the lobby or a glass of cold water, for example. You won't find an ice maker in the hotel or glasses in your room, so if you want cold water, you'll be going down to the snack bar to buy a bottle. Were we to return to Concord, we'd probably stay across the parking lot at Element -- while it's likely to be similar in pricing structure, we're expecting less of the loud, irritating music pumping in the lobby and something more sophisticated than chicken fingers to eat at the hotel bar.

Had a solid experience. Room was convenient and spacious. Staff very friendly.

too cool for us

such a hip hotel --the lobby is nice, but all food is a la carte. they would not give us a room w/two beds so our daughter could stay. only king the room air/heat was bad could not set it correctly. woke up HOT

Great new brand

I really was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I thought it was a great value and the style of it was very modern. The beds could be more comfortable, but all the other amenities were great.

Fun hotel

Loved the "vibe" of the hotel... Very lounge-like and fun! Beds were super comfy, rooms were modern. I will definitely use this hotel again if I'm in the area!!!

Fun atmosphere

Fun, totally modern hotel. Great for younger couples. The free wireless internet was great for planning a day in Boston when it was raining. The room was great, although I don't recommend sharing a room with someone you're not close with as the wall of the shower that borders the bedroom is slightly see though! There are no ice machines available (something about a town law) but you can go down to the front desk to ask for some. It's alittle further outside of Boston than expected, but worth the drive. Lexington itself is a small, sweet town. The only 2 draw backs are 1)the town seems to have mainly Italian resturaunts. When we were there they were the only ones open. The food was good, but if you don't like Italian food good luck finding somewhere to eat. 2) There is a Dunkin Donuts 5 min from the hotel, but it seems to be the only one around. I'm addicted to DD so I found myself waiting 5 min for a parking spot in the tiny lot and then another 10 min waiting for a coffee on Sat morning because it seemed like the whole town was there.

Great quality, Amazing Price

The location was only 20 minutes from Logan Airport. The hotel was very chic and the decor was very modern. The bar service was a little slow and that was only because the bartender was also making the food which was very good for light appetizers. The pool was small but it had many features to keep kids and adults busy.
