    This hotel was fine for a one night stay. We had issues with the TV being very fuzzy. The hotel restaurant is slightly expensive for dinner, but the food was very good. It was still a cheaper alternative to a bed and breakfast on the island.

Kangaroo Island Lodge (Australia) is on a small island off the Adelaide coast and is sheltered in a small fishing village overlooking the American River Bay. Guests will enjoy a serene setting on seven acres of bushland. The Sealink ferry provides regular service to Kangaroo Island. The lodge provides tour information for the island's natural attractions.

Popular activities include bushwalking, boating, bird watching, surfing, golfing, fishing and scuba diving. Native animals on the island include kangaroos, wallabies, bandicoots, reptiles, sea lions, fur seals, koalas and platypus.

Leisure activities at this Kangaroo Island lodge include a saltwater pool, sauna, tennis, billiards and children's playground. The Lodge Restaurant specializes in seasonal produce and seafood. Guests can enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or board game at Linnetts Bar while watching night set in over the bay. Outfitted with spacious sitting areas, guestrooms include necessities such as air conditioning and refrigerators.

Kingscote Airport is 25 minutes from the lodge. The lodge offers an airport shuttle.
