Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 18Four-room suite for the price of a normal hotel room
When I got to my room, I thought there was something wrong because there was no bed. But that was because one enters into the Living Room, and the bedroom is off to the right. There's a study off to the left, a full kitchen, and 2 -- yes two! -- bathrooms. I could house my whole family here -- but it cost the same as a normal room! I asked the hotel clerk, "Do I have a normal room, or is it some special suite?" He said all the rooms were suites like mine. I followed up, "Did I get a normal price, or did I get a special deal because I booked just this morning on hotels.com?" He said, "You paid just a little less than the normal price." This is definitely the best deal for the money I've ever had in a hotel!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 18Room for improvement
I've stayed at this hotel before in a 2 bedroom suite. This time, I had a 1 bedroom suite and was on a different side of the hotel. The noise level from the traffic was LOUD. I asked to be moved from a lower floor to the highest floor and still found the traffic noise ridiculously loud. Non-rush hour or the week-end would not experience that level of noise. The parking garage is under construction and you have long waits until the light turns green and you can proceed in or out of the garage. Most days my card key did not work in my room and I had to return to the front desk to get a replacement. Next time, I'm going to find a quieter location. The hotel is nice, staff are very helpful and the room is more than adequate. If you don't mind the above quirks, you'll enjoy your stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 18Wonderful Place
I was really impressed with this place. The rooms were huge with a full kitchen, a large living room and two bathrooms plus an office. It was like living in an apartment. The only thing that I wasn't happy with is that they wireless internet connection was poor in the evenings making it hard to get my work emails completed.

The hotel is located in downtown and everything is walkable distance (about 10 to 15 min. to the Paliament). Two bathroom and a full kitchen is a huge plus. You can actually cook! One thing to be noted is that they will charge you for parking (about $18+tax per night).

included 2 full bathrooms, a study, a living room and a master bedroom. To top it off, there was a full kitchen, so I ended up making some wonderful meals while I was there. Very impressive.

Hotel staff were very helpful and rooms exceeded our expectations. A beautiful suite on the twelth floor with a great view of the city and park where Jackson Browne concert was held.

The Albert at Bay was a fantastic place to spend a couple of nights in Ottawa -- well-located, with large comfortable rooms, with full kitchen stocked with utensils and tableware, living/dining room, balcony, free business center, large / well apointed gym, rooftop terrace, on-site parking, etc. Plus, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 18Good business hotel
With the exception of a need for some brighter lighting in each of the rooms of the suite, this hotel is a great find. It is inexpensive, yet manages to provide an expansive room, flawless Internet (wi-fi) for free, excellent front desk service that willingly accommodates traveler's requests and needs, possesses well organized bathroom and comfortable bed, is quiet and is a comfortable walk to most business locations on Elgin Street (about 10 minutes on foot). It gets all the basics right and more. What more could you ask for in a hotel for a business traveler.

We spent two nights and it was a pleasant surprise. Only downside is that you have to walk outside to go to a restaurant or bar. The staff is pleasant and friendly, the suite was immaculate. No complaints!

This hotel was just wonderful. The room was much nicer than I was expecting. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. It was a wonderful experience. If we go back to Ottawa we will stay here again.

The room I received was huge - separate bedroom, living room, kitchen, office, two bathrooms and closet space. The price was good, and the location was very close to the main points of interest in downtown Ottawa.
