The Al Ain Rotana - Al Ain is a contemporary property mixing modern architecture with Arabic styling, surrounded by landscaped gardens with palm trees and located in the city of Al Ain, 120 kilometres from Abu Dhabi. Al Ain Gardens are one block from the hotel and Al Ain Palace Museum is two kilometres away. Al Ain International Airport (AAN) is 20 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
Hotel Features. The outdoor swimming pool, set in the landscaped gardens, has a poolside bar and other recreational facilities include two tennis courts, two squash courts and a children's playground. There is a hot tub, a sauna and massage and beauty treatments are available. The magnificent marbled atrium lobby, complete with palm trees, has high-speed wireless Internet access, complimentary newspapers and air- conditioning. Free, secure valet parking is available at a nearby garage and there is 24-hour room service.
Trader Vic's Restaurant serves French Polynesian cuisine and the Minzaman Restaurant serves authentic Lebanese cuisine in a traditional Arabic setting with live entertainment including belly dancing. The Gardenia Restaurant offers Mediterranean dishes and features live piano music.
Guestrooms. The 109 guestrooms over four floors have modern styling with traditional Arabic touches and balconies. All are equipped with satellite television with VCR, high-speed Internet access, direct- dial phones with voicemail, coffee/tea making facilities and minibars. Expert Tip. The history of the United Arab Emirates can be discovered by visiting the Al Ain Palace Museum, built by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1937. Please note that the nightclub is closed for renovation until 31 October 200 8.
