Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 84great location
The hotel was not fancy, but it was very clean. It had a wonderful breakfast, the location was great. You are a short walk to the Metro, the Acropolis, the New Acropolis Museum, and many restaurants. The hotel personnel were very pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 84Great experience
I booked this hotel for the location and because it got good reviews and I was pleasantly surprised as it exceeded my expectations. We were only there for one night but the location was wonderful just a couple of blocks to the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus and even Hard Rock Cafe! The staff was wonderful and even had food and coffee when we had to leave at %:30 am to catch our plane. A wonderful experience would highly recommend.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 84Amazing location!
The Airotel Parthenon is close to so many great attractions in Athens. Blocks from the Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum, across the street from the Temple of Zeus, etc. The beds were pretty hard, but the pillows were comfortable and the service was outstanding.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 84Outstanding Location, Rooms need updating
This hotel is in the best possible location to see all of the major tourist sites of Athens, Greece. It is within walking distance to the Acropolis, the new Acropolis museum, the temple of Zeus and Adrian's arch. In addition, it is right on the edge of the "Plaka" area where you will find shopping, cafes, tavernas and some great people watching. You can't find a better location! The people are very friendly and suggested some outsanding restaurants. The only bad part of this hotel is that the rooms need updating very badly. The restrooms were clean, but the carpets and bed spreads were old and worn out. For the price, however, I would still highly recommend it considering the location and friendly staff. We left for the airport really early and they arranged to have the continental breakfast opened 2 hours early for us and arranged a ride to the airport at 4:30 AM.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 845 Star Location
The location near the acropolis was excellent and in easy walking distance to all kinds of out door cafes. It was also right at the start of shopping streets, (Adrianou), that lead right to the Roman Market area near Monastiraki square. It was half a block to the tourist "on"/"off" double decker bus or the little train trolley . and only 1 1/2 blocks to the metro that ties you into the whole of Athens via subway. As you can see it was a 5 star location. The hotel itself was clean but the rooms were small, the tiny tv didn't work (but we were too tired from shopping and sight seeing anyway). The beds were rock hard. The breakfasts were only fair. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. The internet was free and unlimited if you had your own laptop. On the whole, considering the cost it was well worth choosing this hotel. And I would heartily recommend it. Tip: Ask for an extra pillow.

stayed two sleepless nights on a very uncomfortable mattress with broken springs, the triple room was very tight with barely ten inches of space to walk to and from the bathroom with suitcases placed along wall at bottom of bed.very small elevator long wait in am to get to breakfast as the hotel was full.location is good can walk to parthenon, shops, and resturants.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 84Great location but a bit pricey
We were very satisfied with hotel service. Everyone was very accomodating & nice. We couldn't have asked for a better location, it was within walking distance to the metro & all the ruins! It was however, on the pricey side. In fact was the most expensive place we stayed at in Greece but not the nicest. Overall though, I would definitely stay there again & would recommend staying there if you are ok with the price.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 84What a pleasant surprise!
After reading a couple of the negative reviews I didn't know what to expect. What a nice surprise! The hotel arranged for a taxi to pick me up at the airport which made getting there late in the evening very convenient. The hotel condition and cleanliness was great. The room was spacious, the bathroom renovated, the bed comfortable. Great buffet breakfast. Plaka is only one short block from the hotel. The new Athens Museum is right around the corner. My wife and I walked everywhere. Next time we're in Athens, I know where I'll be staying.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 84Great Location
The hotel is in a great location in the Plaka district, close to lots of stuff. The hotel itself was clean, but the rooms are a little basic. I think calling it a four star hotel might be a bit of a stretch. We also stayed at the Amalia Hotel (nearby, also four stars), but it the rooms were much nicer there.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 84Fantastic
I was pessimistic about this hotel when I booked it but after staying one night there, I was amazed by the price paid and the quality of it. The location is perfect, about 5 minutes next to the Acropolis, great restaurant next to it and next to a Metro Station. I would definitely book this hotel again for my next stay in Athens.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 84Very good service
This hotel was the best one we stayed at throughout our European trip, and it also happened to be the cheapest. The hotel staff was very helpful with finding locations, and explanations about the cultural norms and expectations in Athens. The room was decent, but the TV was really small, but then again we weren't there to watch TV. This hotel also has free WiFi, with no conditions, they just give you the password and that's priceless when you want to find out information about the area and look up history on some of the sites you are about to see. I highly recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 84Excellent Hotel
From this hotel, you can walk to the New Parthenon Museum and the entrance to the Acropolis in 5 minutes. The surrounding neighborhood has many tavernas and shops - in summer it is very festive. The Metro and bus stops are convenient to the hotel. The hotel staff are very helpful and efficient. The rooms are furnished sparely but are quite large and have everything you need to be comfortable. Best thing is the free wireless high speed internet. The breakfast is ample.
