Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 419Great room for a great price
The Affinia was a great place to say for the price I paid. It was conviently located within 1 block of the Magnificent Mile. Gino's East pizza was next door so if you wanna grab a bite to eat, it is right next door. Also, there is a restaurant in the hotel, even though we didn't go, it was nice to have that option as well. One of the coolest things about the hotel was the bar on the roof. It was really classy and cozy at the same time. It had a nice atmosphere.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 419Perfect - will be back
A big surprise given the rate we got. Hotel room was spacious, clean, allergy free (and NO moldy/musty smell), very tastefully decorated and quiet. Perfect location to walk / water taxi anywhere we wanted to go. Service was impeccable AND RESPONSIVE. VIew awesome esp. from roof bar/cafe. Best overall hotel I've ever stayed in in Chicago.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 419Favorite Hotel in Chicago
This is our favorite hotel in Chicago and we've stayed here 4-5 times now in the last year. It's comfy, modern and has a quirky sense of humor to it. All of the Affinia hotels we've seen pretty much do. Great location, wonderfully attentive service. Loyal customer to the Affinia right here. Keep up the good work!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 419Nice
I liked the modern design of the hotel. The location was perfect. The restaurant (C-House) was pretty bad. We had brunch there and it was not good. Go elsewhere. The elevators are EXTREMELY slow. The conceierge was often not around so getting info was difficult at times. The room itself was big for the price. Overall, I reccommend but not it was just fair.

There was only one working elevator, which made for very long wait times.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 419affinia hotel
very pleasantly surprised. I am a usual five star hotel " stayer" but needing to be more frugal for work these days. The phone in my room had issues and without a moment they moved me to an upgraded room. The staff was very nice, the hotel very very nice. The only issue was the elevator to the high floors. Long wait as one seemed out of service.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 419Great room for the money
Found an outstanding rate for a studio suite on hotels.com. The room itself was nice, with modern furnishings but the bed and bathroom should have been larger. All studio suites have queen size beds, and the bathroom for such a large room was tiny. Cons: Windows need soundproofing, studio suites only have queen size beds, doors do not have a do not disturb/housekeeping placard to place outside the door, did not have or offer nightly turn down service. Pros: Location of hotel is fantastic, room was pretty and spacious, rooftop bar, rooms are clean and housekeeping staff is superb.

Rooms are nice and comfortable. Location of the hotel is convenient to everything...Navy Pier, Museums, John Hancock, Michigan Ave, etc. Conceirge was wonderful and very helpful. Service was excellent and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
