Trip Type: With Friends Review 17 of 444Outstanding Hotel
The Affinia is a fantastic hotel and in a great location. The staff was friendly and the room was supurb. The views from the room and the open rooftop bar were the best that I have experienced in a Chicago hotel. I will not stay at another hotel and will recommend the hotel to everyone.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 18 of 444Amazing
We booked this hotel b/c of a special sale hotels.com was offering. And thank god we found the deal! Affinia was one of the most amazing and chic hotels we ever have stayed at. The room was beautiful, the bathroom was very posh and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The next time we go to Chicago we can only hope that we will find another amazing deal for Affinia! We loved it!

Trip Type: Family Review 19 of 444Great Hotel
Everything was great except for the air conditioning. Not great when the temperature is 90 degrees outside.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 21 of 444Great Stay
I have recommended this hotel to everyone since returning from my stay in Chicago. Convenient location, wonderful, clean room. Fabulous staff. Just as nice as any "big corporate" hotel, with a better price and great service, and smaller....less hustle and bustle. Quiet, quaint, but still chic and modern. Stay here.....you won't be disappointed. Only caveat (and it's a small one....) the elevators are slow. So be patient, or better yet, take the stairs and walk off that deep dish pizza! I will head straight to the Affinia on all subsequent stays in Chicago.

Hotel is located 1/2 block from Michigan Avenue shopping, two blocks from happening Rush Street, three blocks to Lake Michigan. Room was quiet, clean, modern. Parking garage directly across from hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 26 of 444Great Location to Stay in Chicago
My husband and I stayed at the Affinia 7/16 - 7/18. The hotel's location is close to the Magnificent Mile and John Hancock Tower, which was very convienent for us since this was our first trip to Chicago. The lobby and room had a hip and contemporary feel and the beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I only have one complaint about the hotel that I would like to report. The hotel has 29 floors and only two very small elevators that go to rooms 8 - 29. Keep in mind the 29th floor is a rooftop bar which gets pretty busy in the evening that is open to the public. The cleaning staff also uses the same elevators which adds more time to wait for an elevator. Overall our experience at the Affinia was a pleasant stay in a happening location.

Trip Type: Romance Review 30 of 444Very Nice Valentine's Day
Spent two nights in one of the "junior suites" (I think it might have been a free upgrade!?). It was gorgeous. Plenty of space and the ambiance was perfect. I'd definitely stay there again! Oh yes the restaurant had fairly good food, and the skybar was incredible as well!
