Acapulco Hotel & Resort

I guess I just expected a little more for the price

Placed in a room right across from the elevator. No king beds available. Ocean view was very minimal.

Nice Hotel for the Money

I think I got a great deal on the room. I am just bothered by extra $5 a day for parking and $1.50 for a safe that you have to pay even if you don't use it. You have no choice but to pay for parking, but that is not anywhere in the booking info unless it is smaller than fine print. Hotel should either disclose that there is a parking fee or add it to the price of the room.

Great room for the money

Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean! It was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased and would recommend this hotel.

Overall the hotel is ok.

Overall the hotel was ok, my only complaint would be the pool and jacuzzi were not very clean, especially the jacuzzi.

Our Stay at Acapulco Was Wonderful

My wife and I stayed at Acapulco for our vacation in celebration of our tenth wedding anniversary. We were really impressed by the Acapulco's location, cleanliness, price, amenities and breakfast! Located right on the beach in Daytona, we stayed in an oceanside efficiency room which had a perfect view of the ocean! The balconies are at an angle, so you get to see a lot of the beach. The kitchen was compact but had everything we needed, and the room was quite spacious. It's only a few miles from several great restaurants, and there's so much to do in the area. I'd certainly stay here again!

I am a little spolied so trust me this hotel is in great shape, was a great location and a very clean room. The staff was very nice, helpful and I just can't say enough about the value.

Great place; Watch out for hidden fees and hot tub!

While the hotel was certainly up to my standards considering the price I paid, I still expected a 3-star hotel to have clean, working hot tubs (both had non-working lights, jets and heaters). And if a hotel is going to get a poolside tiki bar, it should at least be employed with a friendly bartender who is at least knowledgable on basic mixed drinks. I was also not satisfied with the daily parking fee of $5 per vehicle. I ended up spending an extra $50 that I hadn't planned for, which added some extra stress to my vacation.
