Nice renovations - Great value

The hotel was very nice. Was given an upgrade to the two room suite, basically two small hotel rooms with the an door between them and one being the bedroom and the other the living area with a nice mini-kitchen and extra bathroom. Decorations were retro and relatively new. Park next door was nice for running in the morning.

Looks can be decieving

At first glance this hotel looks like a 2 story office or apartment building, but inside it couldn't be more like a boutique hotel. The first-floor room we stayed in was very clean, was a nice size, had a VERY comfortable bed and included a TV, small microwave and refrigerator. The color scheme and decor materials complemented the desert/city location. The price was outstanding. Hotel management called us upon checkin to ensure the room was up to our expectations. Across the street was a nice park with frizbee golf stations, concrete sidewalks, bridges, picnic tables, etc. Downtown Scottsdale is within a 5 min drive (has great restaurants, jewelry and souvineer shops and art galleries.) I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great priced hotel with the ammenities.

Great room for a great price!

The lobby a spa feel to in when you walk in very relaxing and clean. The pool area is big with lots of space and a huge hot tub for soaking after a nice walk around the duck pond. The room was exactly as it appeared online we had the one with the jaz. tub, wonderful. We stayed during the Greek festival so it was busy. The walls are thin and some of that noise from other rooms carries. We'd stay again for sure!

Very Comfortable

My family enjoyed the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, and the pool atmosphere was very relaxing. I would recommend this hotel for price, location, and comfort.

Glorified Motel

Air conditioning didn't work and television channels didn't all come in clearly. On the day of check out, hotel staff seemed anxious to get us out of the room coming by at 8 AM and again at 9 AM even though posted check out wasn't until noon. The rooms are clean, not really spacious though and this "hotel" is really a spruced up motel. They have put in granite and tile which adds a bit to the decor. While it's convenient to downtown, the hotel is in an area that isn't real nice. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the staff friendly. The restaurant out front, Avalon, is excellent and highly recommended. Overall, it's not bad at the right price and...if you are simply looking for a three star hotel.

Great Find

This hotel was a great find. I stayed for days and it was so comfortable and a great value. The location was great and so convenient. Access to the park across the street was a great benefit for exercise. I loved my stay.
