"Great stay"
I was immediately transferred to non smoking room upon check in. Room was clean and spacious with great view. Traffic outside can slightly be heard in the room but not to a bothersome level. rate of hotel service to the airport is too expensive and instead of giving us a van they gave us a small car.some of our stuff was put in the front seat and the rest we had it in our back seat and was shoved in the trunk and we had to Pay P800.00 for this. The hotels appearance is great but other than that never ever again will I stay in this hotel full of crooked employees. The food was fair at best and way over priced for what it was, P1150 for their buffet that was awful, P150 for a Coke, P3000 if you want to just think about using the minibar and if you want to use it but only have a debit card they […] charge you the P3000 up front, then when we checked out they wanted to charge me the P3000 again after the other girl told me it had already been charged. We arranged a hotel car to take us to the airport, two separate drop offs, one International and one Domestic, I was told P800 well the next morning after we get to the airport the driver claims that its actually P800 for one drop off then an additional P400 to take my girlfriend over to Domestic. I booked two rooms at this hotel. We arrived early for check in and was accomodated right away and even received an upgrade at no charge in order to expedite the availability of our rooms. The rooms were celan and tastefully decorated. The staff was pleasant and seemed to be very attentive to any needs of the guests. The only drawbacks I noticed were the infrequent schedule for the free shuttles to the Mall of Asia and the lack of an airport shuttle. The doorman did advise of to take a local taxi instead of the paid hotel van to the airport as it was considerably cheaper and they confirm all taxi drivers for safety before they are allowed to transport guests. If you are making international calls from your room it costs around $8.00 a minute. The room service is over priced. Fast food and Kenny Rogers is withen walking distance so go there instead. The people at the front desk are rude. The slot machine area workers are rude aswell. The pool aera is dirty. I was going to go swiming but the area looked too […] dirty. "Acceptable but nothing special"
The first thing that I noticed is that the Room is smaller than I expected. There was nothing special about the bathroom. I'd compare the room to about what I would expect at a super 8 motel. In fact, I've seen some nicer, roomier motel rooms. It just seemed cramped. The sitting furniture in the room also seemed old, and uncomfortable. The bottom line […] is that the price that I paid didn't match my expectations. The service was a little clumsy. I felt like I had to keep repeating my questions. On numerous occasions, I had to call the concierge for things that the front desk should handle. It just felt awkward. We ordered from the ala carte menu in the restaurant downstairs. The hotel restaurant has a very expensive buffet, so we chose to order ala carte. For the price of the dinner buffet I could have taken her extended family out to another nice restaurant and would have paid less. I know this to be true, because I did that numerous times while visiting. Unfortunately, they won't let me post even ballpark pricing numbers to give you an idea of what that means. We enjoyed our stay, we were very pleased with the excellent and courteous staff. The housekeeping staff were very nice and made sure that they attended to all our needs. Front desk and concierge staff were very professional, even the bell men. The only negative that I saw was that the buffet restaurant did not meet our expectations compared to other […] restaurants from other hotels. They did not cater to the choice of food that we like to have but hey, there were lots of diners! "Our First and the Last Stay at Heritage Hotel"
Disaster! Booked for Airport Pick up but no one turned up! Ate dinner at the Restaurant a few times but waited for nearly 40 minutes!. Restaurant stinks of cigarette at night. Hotel Room has no free internet access. Cancelled the ordered desserts a few times as they did not come. Realised then that the priority are the gamblers! Waiters were too busy […] and no time to look after the non gamblers guests. Went to Vigan (5 of us - with family members who stayed at Heritage too). Booked for airport pick up again. This time, the driver turned up but he brought with him a sedan car and we booked for the van as 5 of us plus luggage. Again, waited for an hour at the airport waiting for the replacement. Arrived at the Hotel so late and went straight to the restaurant as we were starving. Ordered taken straight away but no food for near 40 minutes. "Location is good for tourists wanting to go to MOA"
The reception counter staff who attended to me did not greet me nor smile, this is something a guest checking in dislike. The bell boy was helpful and courteous though, carried our luggage to the room for which we really appreciated. The swimming pool was not that "accessible" to guest; u had to go to 3rd Floor then walked a distance like a maze down […] the stairs b4 u can reach it, i wonder if there is another way to get there more easily. The attendant at the pool was helpful and friendly though. It was a pity the pool for children was closed that my child had to swim in the pool for adults and it was good it wasn't too deep at all--safe enough for children with adult's supervision. The water sink taps were old and outdated, i had to adjust both cold and hot knobs for the desired temperature of the water hence it could be either too hot or too cold. The shower head was also loose indicating lack of maintenance. The room size is good enough for a family with 1 or 2 children, aircon is good and the bed is comfortable! Not forgetting the close distance to Mall of Asia which is only a short ride from the hotel. It's worth a stay with good discount offered. "Heritage Hotel - old but grand and well maintained"
I am quite impressed with the Hotel's service. When I stepped out the cab from my short trip from Boracay, I was assisted immediately by the Staff of the Hotel. Though the check-in time take quite a while probably around 15 minutes waiting on the queue but over all I was satisfied after they have assisted me. They gave me a Non-smoking, Superior Room […] with a King Size Bed. The room is very well maintained and I have everything I need inside the room. The only cons about this Hotel is that the swimming pool is not well maintained as the paint looks dirty and yellowish. It looks very old but still functional. They have also a small casino at the 2nd floor for playing cards and slot machines at the basement where they serve free buffet for VIP members.
