We loved the place. Its the sort of place that is immediately relaxing. The "reception desk" is a small area on a patio which is shared with their small dining area and a lending library. Everyone knew our names immediately and did everything to provide a comfortable relaxing stay. I deleted their email detailing the pickup details from the airport. […] I emailed Janet and she sent me a copy almost immediately. You don't get that kind of service from big luxury hotels It's an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. If you want a big room with all the amenities (and the price to go with it!) then this is not the place for you. But if you want a very low key, friendly place then stay here! Read more

Dave's Straw Hat Inn is nicely situated in the less noisy station 3. Once I had arrived, the staff made my stay very comfortable. They were willing to give me advice, help, or whatever I needed. The room was just as described in the listing with no surprises.
