A very enjoyable experience, even though I was on a business trip. I found the calibre of staff, service and food (I only had the continental breakfast and room service soup once) to be excellent. I also found the room to be of a high standard, very detailed, and slightly quirky in its design, all little touches made it an easy room to stay in for two […] nights despite its fairly compact size. The lift was original (early 1900's?) and the decor was homely, inviting and comfortable. The cool little drawing room lounge was cute, although I didn't have the opportunity to sample the complimentrary 6.30pm drink which I would have liked to have tried! "Fantastic hotel"
We only stayed one night as a treat as it was the most expensive of all the places we stayed in during our trip but it was most definitely worth it! The room was superb with a very comfortable bed, lovely shower and bathroom, and great service from the reception staff. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was buffet-continental style. Plenty […] of food, nice choice and served in a lovely light and bright dining area. We loved the decor, modern and retro and the same time.
