I was not able to use the internet in the evening after the cafe closed down which was inconvenient. The destks should be able to issue passwords etc when the cafe closes early. "Okay unless you want your car in a hurry"
Fair hotel in good location. No on site parking so cars are valet parked in nearby facilities. I advised reception the evening before that I would need the car and was told to ring giving ten minutes notice before I needed the car. Just to be sure I phoned 30 minutes before, and when I got down to reception I was told someone had gone to get the vehicle. […] Ten minutes later - no car. Twenty minutes later - no car. "The Scenic Hotel in Auckland - Worth a stay!"
A very good hotel, very conveniently placed in the centre of Queen St, Auckland. Within walking distance to most of the attractions (and restaurants) of Auckland. The only "annoyance" is that for the Queens St-facing rooms, the traffic noise can be relatively high. Ask for a room on the other side of the hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
