If you have a flight and need a place to sleep near the airport with a free shuttle, then this place will do. I spent one night before my flight next morning. The hotel shuttle is just outside the airport, easy to find. It's 10 or less minutes from the airport. I generally don't mind budget hotels, but this one irked me a bit. As a solo female traveler, for some reason this place made me uncomfortable - I think it was large numbers of male business travelers and very secluded hallways. Also it's just next to the highway, so you wouldn't want to walk around outside. I write as someone who is used to American hotels. As a Best Western, this airport hotel experience was very different than that of all other hotels with which I am familiar. Let me start by saying that the reception staff was the most hard working and passionate I have ever seen. This is said even though they are being asked to do the impossible. Let […] me explain: when I arrived in the evening they were checking guests ins and out while, at the same time, acting as bar tenders and restaurant staff. In the morning, they were checking guests in and out, while, at the same time acting as omelette preparers and breakfast staff. There were no evening housekeeping staff. When I got to my room I noticed that no soap or shampoo were there. I called the front desk and was told that they were out of soap and shampoo because management had forgotten to reorder these. However, 10 minutes later, there was a knock on my door and one of the front desk staff members brought me one piece of soap. So, my conclusion is that the staff is very hard working but that the management style is geared toward minimizing costs for the company rather than providing a quality experience for the guests. I arrived at the hotel along with 4 other guests; there were 3 people at the reception desk, working with 2 groups that had apparently come without prior arrangement and were needing all sorts of extras that took time, often of more than one staff member at a time. We were kept waiting for more than 20 minutes, while we had prior arrangments and had […] already paid - so, if there were just one person to assist us, we could have been given keys to our rooms within minutes. I think staff need to be trained not to interrupt and spend time on long disucussions on the telephone, or consulting with clients who have no regard for others that have had their arrangements in place sooner. In the room the towels were frayed and there was no shampoo, conditioner - basics for people who have to leave early the next day and do not want to unpack a whole suitcase, or transport bags full of consumables for a single night.
