Brand new hotel, spotless clean, great comfortable and stylish room. NIce and quiet pool and gym. Good service in bars. In summary, great value for money if you dont mind conmmuting to the center by tram. We stay here for business all the time and love it. The rooms are spacious (for a European hotel) and comfortable. The food in the restaurant and bar is very good, the bartenders are terrific, there is a pool, a spa, a workout room - it's really a great hotel. Their front desk staff needs a little work. The girls at the desk can be pretty snippy, and […] I didn't always get good answers to questions like "what's the easiest way to the airport?" because, NO - dragging my suitcases 8 blocks to the train station is NOT the easiest route. I have been staying at this hotel on and off for the past 3 months as I have been working in Amsterdam. The staff at both reception and restaurant are extremely helpful polite and professional. Check in time for this hotel is 3pm!! I arrived at 11am expecting a 12 o clock check in and had to wait a full 2hours in the lobby until a room was available. 9 others were also waiting for a room! "WestCord Fashion hotel - Good but could be great.."
Our 3 day stay @ this 4* Westcord property was enjoyable. In summary, the property is clean and well appointed with good facilities. However, there were things that could be addressed to make a guest's stay better. For example, the ironing boards in the rooms are not fit for purpose. We tried 3 and each collapsed due to already being damaged or just […] not good enough quality. Also, the gym facilities are good, but having to hire towels, no water cooler (pay for bottled water) and pay extra to use the sauna?? Finally, we ordered a pot of coffee to the room, not listed on the room service price list. Being regulars in 4 and 5 star properties, we expected it to be around 6 euro... When it arrived, we were asked to sign a bill for 10 Euro. The stained tray consisted of a pot of coffee and a small jug of milk, no cups, sugar, complimentary biscuit. And to top it off, the coffee was awful stale filter coffee and not the fresh 'bean to cup' you would expect in properties of this calibre. Overall, despite the niggles above, we would still recommend the hotel if you get a good deal, the nearest tram is a 10 minute walk away and the centre is 20 minutes on the tram and a cab to the centre is around 20 Euro, not an issue for us but maybe for others if you want to be in the heart of the action. WestCord Fashion Hotel Amsterdam is situated a 10-15 minutes drive from Amsterdam Schiphol airport (AMS). The hotel is of very high standard with a fashion theme. At arrival, tasty cupcakes made by the chef was offered free of charge. The rooms were spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The staff friendly and hospitable. There's a swimming pool in the […] SPA area at the lower floor. The SPA is of extra cost but access to the pool is free of charge. The hotel also has a sky bar with a nice view. We didn't walk the area, but it seemed most to be apartments, hotels and industries. There's a train stop nearby which makes it easy to go to the airport, Amsterdam city or other cities. The hotel has a restaurant, room service and small portions at the sky bar. We had the room service which has moderate prices but with an extra charge of 5 Euro. Prima hotel met mooie/nieuwe kamers. Wat mij irriteerde tijdens eten was de chef die zijn medewerkers alsmaar liep op te jagen. Heb twee nachten geslapen, twee avonden stress in de tent en een zeurende chef die driftig langs mijn tafel liep. Hotel ist sehr modern, der Service an der Bar und morgens zum Frühtsück lässt jedoch mehr als zu wünschen übrig: unaufmerksam und noch dazu personell total unterbesetzt. positiv: - moderne Zimmer, vergleichbar mit Sofitels - Zimmer mit ca. 25qm deutlich geräumiger als die […] meisten Businesshotels negativ: - dreimal unten an der Hotelbar zu Abend gegessen; zweimal musste ich an die Bar laufen und der Bedienung quasi auf die Füße treten, um meine Bestellung aufgeben zu dürfen - beim Frühstück ist das Personal ebenso wie an der Bar unaufmerksam und zudem hoffnungslos unterbesetzt, mehrheitlich war kein Tisch verfügbar, obwohl niemand mehr daran saß, zehn Tische aber nicht abgeräumt wurden - im Bad im Zimmer hat Hausdame wiederholt alte Gläser und verbrauchte Shampooflaschen einfach liegen gelassen - an mehreren Stellen im Haus wird beworben, dass es kostenloses WLAN gibt; da dies jedoch über einen T-Online Hotspot bereitgestellt wird und das Hotel dafür Gebühr entrichten muss erhält man das Passwort nur auf explizite Nachfrage Insgesamt ein sehr modernes Businesshotel, aber die Servicequalität war in den fünf Tagen eine absolute Katastrophe. albergo carino, a parte i fronzoli, molto utile la possibilità di usufruire gratis di piscina e centro fitness. La porta a vetri del bagno (ma il wc è in un'altra stanza) e un'ulteriore finestra non consentono di certo la privacy, quindi pensateci bene se non siete con persone dalle quali non volete farvi vedere mentre vi fate una doccia. La camera […] è abbastanza grande, con schermo lcd e quant'altro, e il letto (un due piazze con però 2 materassi singoli) è molto comodo. sono rimasto un po' perplesso dal fatto che le cameriere hanno sì rifatto il letto, ma hanno lasciato t-shirt e pantaloncini "accartocciati" sopra il piumone invece di piegarli sotto il cuscino o al limite metterli su una delle 2 poltroncine.
