My wife and I stayed here 3 nights in Oct, 2012. It's a very short walk from Centraal Station. It doesn't have much street presence - you could easily... miss it. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It had two twin beds pushed together two nightstands (but no chairs), a flat screen tv and just enough room to get around the beds. The bathroom included a shower area (no enclosure). The room had been updated recently and everything seemed fresh and new. There was a window which looked out on a solid wall. It was very quiet despite being in a very busy area. We used a small elevator to get to our room and never had to wait very long. If you don't need a view and don't plan to spend much time hanging around your room, this a fine place to stay. Selected students of the Amsterdam Fashion Insitute (AMFI) are responsible for the interior decoration of the 61 one to five-star rooms. A hotel where architecture meets fashion, opened December 2011. High-speed wireless Internet access in the entire hotel is complimentary. Hotel The Exchange is a smoke-free property. Please be aware that the hotel does not accept any cash payments. Guests can use meeting facilities at a partner hotel.

Facilities
Hotel The Exchange offers a restaurant in the same building. Restaurant Stock serves breakfast all day, till late. During the entire day guests can obtain local products in a happy enviroment. In addition to the restaurant, Hotel The Exchange features a 24-hour business center. This hotel also offers tour/ticket assistance, multilingual staff, and a giftshop (Options). Business services, concierge services, wedding services, and tour assistance can be provided. Housekeeping is offered daily.

Good location to the train station. OK hotel for short stays. Rooms are small without closets. The bed was very comfortable. No breakfast or internet.

Great location, close to all tourist spots, main shopping area and the Central train station where we took train from and to Amsterdam International airport. There are many restaurants, cafe and eating place around this hotel. 100% convenient place to stay. The draw back is its free WIFI internet is slow and in certain location in your room, there is […] no signal to use WIFI at all. In addition, the TV in our room cannot be switched on by using the remote controller. Need to have a few attempts to press the on/off button before it can function properly. Read more

The hotel is located very centrally - right by the train station. The room was quite comfortable clean. The art/decorations were fairly amusing! The room is on the smallish side, and the hallway leading to it is quite tight, but overall this was nice.

Conforto, localização , internet de alta qualidade (skype, vpn..), atendimento dos funcionários: IMPECÁVEL.. Hotel onde o banheiro não tem o box do chuveiro. Isto pode até ser moderno, mas para quem gosta de tomar banho vai ter sempre o banheiro molhado.
