This was a great location. Even though I realize that the European rating system is different, I was slightly disappointed in the room. I knew it would be a bit smaller by our USA standards but it was VERY small. There were no drawers or shelves for unpacking at all. There was a decent size closet for some hanging items with one above and one below […] shelf but that was it. We certainly made do with things but would have at least liked to unpack since we were staying for 6 nights. Breakfast buffet was good but VERY overpriced even by the standards of several other places that we ate breakfast. Most places more like 10 euros and it was 17.50 euros for the hotel breakfast. I will hope to be able to book this hotel any time I visit Amsterdam in the future. It is a very nice hotel, in a great location, for a great price. Not knowing exactly where I would want to be in Amsterdam I took a guess with Inntel and it turned out to be perfect. It is very easy walking distance to the train station, canal ferries, trams, coffee […] shops, malls, etc. The restaurant does a very nice breakfast, and for lunch and dinner it was easy to walk somewhere to try something different. The staff was superbly accommodating and helpful. I loved everything about Inntel except the tiny rooms. It seems to be common for European hotels to have small rooms. I stayed here twice as one or two day layovers for family fun before and after Christmas/New Year break. Because of the season I had a loooot of suitcases between me and my two kids and it was difficult to fit them all into the room without having one or two of them blocking a door or causing a tripping hazard. The second time around I booked the larger room with the double bed and single bed and that helped alleviate some of the space issues but it was still crowded. I highly recommend Inntel and plan to stay nowhere else in Amsterdam in the future. Read more

this was a very modern new and clean hotel but the second you get off the elevator there is an odor that was not very pleasent, and it was not an odor of smoke rather than an almost pet smell mostly of a kitty litter box, we actually had to go out of our way to to buy a candle to burn in the room to help the stench leave the room! which was weird because […] other than that it was quite nice clean bathroom comfortable bed and great mini bar selection but the smell! it was so odd! we kept thinking there had to have a been a phantom kitty underneath the bed! so stay here but come armed with scented candles and a bottle of febreese! We just had a quick trip thru Amsterdam on our way home so this was the perfect location just a few minutes walk from the Central train station, canal cruises and to main sites. Good restaurants, bars and coffee/crepes close too. Hotel staff was very professional and friendly, rooms clean and modern. Would like to have spent more time!

This hotel is strategically located, convenient, yet quiet. There are a lot of restaurants and shops around. It's close to the trams and the train station. We had a great stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage for us because we had an early arrival. I'll stay here again if I visit Amsterdam again.

Good location, besides the sleeze drifting in from the Red Light District. Nice staff. Canal Ring is a bad place to drive or park (not a fault of the hotel). Comfortable bed (important for a tall man with back problems). Price was the highlight! Much more affordable compared to similar hotels.

We found the entire stay (2 nights) extremely satisfactory, and would recommend the hotel without hesitation. That being said, it would have been nice to know that it is HARD to find - particularly when driving a car to the destination, and finding it hard to even unload luggage for fear of getting a ticket!

Excellent hotel. Staff very friendly and very helpfull. Location is within 5/ 10 minutes walking distance from any of the main sights, restaurants, shops and bars. Also from the railway station which made it easy to get from and to the airport, €4 No need for taxi at €20. Would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The hotel is right in the centre of Amsterdam, 10 mins from Central station very convenient. The rooms are well equip and our room was at the back so we didn’t hear the noise of the street. I didn't like that the price didn't include the breakfast and the towels were too old. Apart from that it is a good place to stay and I would recommend it.

I was happy with my choice of this Hotel. It was easy to catch the train from the airport to Central Station and walk to the Hotel. Many sights are within walking distance and the tram line is 1 minute away. My wife appreciated the kettle and free tea and coffee.
