Club Nitro disco hosts evening productions that may include Broadway themes or Mexican fiestas. After the shows, guests dance on stage. Complimentary beverages are included until 2 A.M.

In the beach and pool area, resort staff members run a full slate of daily activities open to all guests. Popular activities include team sports such as beach volleyball, and solo or couples adventures such as kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling, and boogie boarding. Two clay tennis courts are available for day use (surcharge for night play). Guests can also play basketball, handball, and volleyball on the multiuse sports court. Those who wish to shoot a game of pool will find tables in The Pub Bar.
An air-conditioned fitness center contains cardio and weight equipment. Complimentary fitness activities include stretching, spinning, yoga, Pilates, and Capoeira movement classes.
An on-site dive shop can arrange snorkeling trips and scuba-diving courses, certification, and trips (surcharges for all). Motorized water sports include personal watercraft and parasailing (surcharges).
Staff can also help golf enthusiasts arrange tee times at the 18-hole Marina Vallarta Golf Course, two km (1.25 mi) from the hotel.

Large resorts dominate the Hotel Zone, arguably the center of Puerto Vallarta tourism. This area includes the Maritime Terminal, where cruise ships dock. Across the street, visitors can see authentic bullfights at La Paloma Bullring. Like its southern half, the North Hotel Zone’s main attraction is the crescent-shaped bay. Water sports are in abundance, as are restaurants, bars, and shops.
