Buho’s is a casual open air restaurant/bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. A diverse range of dishes are served, including a few island specialties Closed From September 1st until December 15th. Buho’s three beach palapa bars, with its unusual combination of swings and hammocks, serves a vast selection of tropical drinks, ice cold bear and fruit cocktails. Beverage service is available from 10:00 a.m. to midnight. Famous for its sunset happy hour, Buho’s has been a “must-see” attraction for over a decade!

Accessible by ferry, Isla Mujeres is a major ecotourism destination. El Parque Natural Garrafón (Garrafón Natural Reef Park) features coral reefs inhabited by schools of fish. Giant sea turtles come ashore at Tortugranja to lay eggs. North of Isla Mujeres, thousands of rare and tropical birds roost at a natural sanctuary on Isla Contoy.

This hotel was right on the beach at the north end of the island and was close to town, which was nice. The room we had was absolutely no frills. A bed, safe and a small tv. Oh, and a toilet that did not flush. We actually had to use the toilet at the beach bar. What was most disappointing, however, was the staff. Surly and not at all accommodating. […] For example, we checked in and were not even told that a continential breakfast or beach towels came with the room. So the next morning when the restaurant staff told us we needed to pick up tickets for toast, juice and coffee, we walked across the street to the lobby and were almost reluctantly given tickets. That was fine. The next morning we again visited the main lobby for tickets and were told that we needed to come back in five or ten minutes because the clerk was "just getting to that." Understgand that the tickets are on a preprinted pad of twenty or thirty on a page and all that was needed was to tear off two at the perforation and write our room number on it. But we walked back across the street and returned later to pick them up. Rude staff and sparse accommodations could not prevent us, however, from enjoying this most charming and beautiful island. "Good location"
I liked the location of the hotel. It has access to the beautiful Playa Norte in Isla Mujeres and it is located within walking distance to the market. Nice and quiet during the night. Excellent location right on North beach, Beautiful garden courtyard, and discounted golf cart rates. I would recommend to friends and go back in a heartbeat. However, I take extreme displeasure in being charge U.S. Dollars $5 for a chair, $5 for an umbrella, and $5 for my husband's chair. $15 per day times 5 days is an extra $75 to sit on the beach. Et skønt hotel med et meget venligt personale! Vi var så heldige at få det værelse, som lå med udgang allernærmest stranden og det var fantastisk. Stranden er så smuk og dejlig at være på. Ønsker man strandstol eller parasol koster det dog ekstra. Til hotellet hører en restaurant/strandbar, hvor man spiser sin morgenmad. Generelt er det svært at finde […] et ordentligt sted at spise i byen og denne restaurant er da heller ikke noget særligt hvad angår mad. Dog kompenserer den hyggelige bar med gynger og en fantastisk udsigt for det. Værelserne var fine og med køleskab og AC, der kølede godt. Der blev gjort rigtig fint gjort rent hver dag + lagt rene håndklæder. Hotellet ligger et lille stykke vej på gåben fra byen, men det er kun et plus!
