Oasis Viva All Inclusive Hotel - Adults Only is an all-inclusive resort with all-ocean view guestrooms located on 200 yards of white sand beach.
Property Features.
This totally refurbished resort features a relaxing pool, a gorgeous 200-yard beach with bar service, two tennis courts, four restaurants, and five bars. Daily activities include competitions such as beach and pool volleyball, pool aerobics, and dance lessons. Nightly activities include two shows weekly (Mexican and Caribbean) on the beach, around the pool, or in the lobby depending on the weather. Guests can fully relax with the hotel's spa services, which include body wraps, facial treatments, massages (reservations required), and body treatments.

The resort offers 276 air-conditioned guest rooms in two 8-story towers—all with ocean views. Room decor features textured terracotta walls, white ceilings, Mexican-style furniture of dark wood and wrought iron, gray-marble floors, and wood ceilings in dressing/vanity areas. In-rooms safes are available. Room amenities include flat-panel television with cable service and pay movies; mini bar, bottled water, and coffee/tea maker. The All Inclusive Plan includes the following: room accommodations, unlimited food and drink (domestic liquor), house wine, all resort fitness and recreation facilities, and all taxes and gratuities. Not included is wireless Internet access, imported wines by the bottle, fine cuts of meat and lobster, motorized water sports, night tennis and basketball, massage and beauty services, telephone and fax charges, in-room movies, laundry and dry cleaning, and outside tours and excursions.

To protect guests from passing boats, the hotel allows sea swimming only in a defined, shallow area in front of the resort where the water is calm. Nonmotorized sea sports include kayaking and sailing. The pool is another focus of activity, with staff members running a daily program that includes water aerobics, pool volleyball, and games.
Stationary bicycles, stair machines, and free weights are provided in the small fitness center opposite the health bar.
Staff members can help arrange area activities such as parasailing, fishing excursions, and boating.

"Don't believe the website"
Adults only is inaccurate, there were children at this hotel. The voucher provided by expedia for a three hundred dollar resort credit was refused at the front desk. They stated the resort had stopped accepting the voucher in december. The room we were given did not have a refrigerator which I need for a medication I take daily. When we complained we […] were told they would change our room the following day. The next day that could not be done so they provided a refrigerator that could not have cooled a glass of water much less maintain the correct temperature for medication. This next section is copied directly from their website, {Amenities include wireless Internet access (surcharge), flat-panel television with cable channels and pay movies, in-room safe, mini bar, complimentary bottled water, and coffee/tea maker. } We had a tv but no information provided on stations or pay movies, safe cost $6 usd per day, no bottled water and obviously no mini-bar. After an end run around the front desk we got a functioning coffee maker. The hotel's answer to these short comings was " it is not in the contract". Yet there it is on their website. "Not great for couples"
I did not read the comments before I booked the hotel. Which was a big mistake, the comments are all right on for this hotel. Its not horrible, its got a great ocean view and access. But there is nothing special about it at all. You have to be a VIP which is an extra couple hundred for a couple, otherwise your stuck with one buffet the whole time. None […] of the staff speaks english at all which is fustrating. I understand we are in MX but a basic knowledge of English would have been nice. Ok this is not an adult only hotel, you are only allowed to eat at 2 restaurants not at all 5 restaurants which were restricted, there are no water activities at motel (windsurfing, kayaking, sailing maybe down the beach I could not see), the exercise room is a complete joke (no free weights to speek of, bent bar, multiple weight lifting machine that […] no stations worked on, one tread mill out of two workd, two old stationary bicycles that you tighten down a bar on the wheel for friction no electronics), no table tennis, no volleyball. "Good All-Inclusive for those on a budget."
The hotel is definitely a 3 star hotel according to U.S. standards. The staff did not seem to go out of their way to ask if you needed anything, in fact some of the staff seemed pretty lazy. The room television did not have good reception which was disappointing considering that the Olympics were on during our stay. The hotel uses some bizarre category status that determines whether or not you have a remodeled room with a mini fridge and 24 hour room service. Negatives: The AC was not enough for the room, very loud, room was very humid. We are a family of 4, two adults and two kids, lots of noisy drunks on our floor coming back in the early am hours, hotel could have put families on one floor and singles on another. Pools shut down at 8pm, come on 8pm, kids still want to be in the water until it gets dark. Ice […] cream for the kids was intermittent at the best, never knew when the ice cream cart would be available. We found that if you were Mexican you got better / quicker service at the bars, burger and hot dog stands. Rooms were old, beds / bedding was uncomfortable, room got an inch of water in it one night from the storm, the windows in the hallway let that much water in, also had a constant drip in the bathroom from the room above. Positives: Beach and sea was fantastic. Food in restaurants was varied and very good. Most of the staff spoke a good amount of English, and were generally polite, see comment above about service. Lots of things to do if you want or just chill at the beech or pool, took the kids snorkeling, dolphin swim, zip lines & ATV. Quick walk to the center of everything. Overall the hotel stay was pleasant and if you are on a budget it is certainly worth checking out. The food was good, the rooms were very nice and served their purpose.
