This property features cyber cafe services at the Deli and high-speed wireless Internet access throughout the hotel (for a fee). There are several bar and dining options, including a poolside bar. The hotel also features a large bi-level heated pool divided by a waterfall. The Beach House Spa, with its quiet oceanfront views, offers services such as aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, and reflexology massages, marine mud body treatments, seaweed or coffee wrap treatments, facial treatments, saunas, and other beauty services. The Beach Bar and Grill - A beachfront location serving lunch, appetizers, and a variety of drinks.
The Lounge & Terraces - Relaxed atmosphere by the lobby and on the outdoor terrace, overlooking the Cancún Hotel Zone. A tapas bar open for lunch, dinner, and drinks from 9 AM to midnight.
The Pool Bar - Poolside bar with swim-up section. Drinks and mid-day snacks and sandwiches. Open from 9 AM to 6 AM.
A waterfall divides the resort's large, 2-level pool. The lower pool features in-water sunbathing chairs and a swim-up bar. The upper-deck pool area offers a quieter setting. Beach access is available on either side of the resort, and the clear Caribbean waters are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Lounge chairs and palapas are on the beach.
Hyatt Regency Cancún offers a daily activites program for children and adults, including yoga, walks on the beach, beach and pool volleyball, water aerobics, and beach soccer. Scooters/mopeds can be rented nearby. Ecotours are available nearby.
The prestigious Cancún Golf Club at Pok-Ta-Pok, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., is 2 km (1.25 miles) away. The course incorporates hundreds of meters of dramatic shoreline amid ancient Mayan ruins.

"Not Hyatt quality- great location!!"
The Hyatt has a great location and nice beach. The staff was pleasant and courteous. The rooms are large, but the issues are that the hotel is aging and it is not up to Hyatt standards. The room (113) was just heavily worn. There were other issues with our room, like the toilet stopped flushing and water had to be manually added. We were bit by some […] bugs in Cancun but could not verify the time or type. The breakfast buffet was a nice classic American style but priced at 300 pesos. The hotel did offer a prepaid discount on resort services and food. I chose this hotel because I had stayed there about 8 years earlier. I would not recommend this hotel until it is renovated. "Hotel zone and night life"
Very enjoyable trip. Hotel staff was very helpful. Security was great. Fun activities at the hotel everyday. Walk to alot of restaurants and night life. Hotel was at the very tip of peninsula, they had made a wall of stone that prevented any large waves from hitting the beach. The water was very clear and the staff kept the beach emaculate. The hotel […] had a person on the beach as a lifeguard and another attendee as a security person all day. The beach cabanas were nice and free. We bought credit from the front desk and what ever you purchased in the restaurants was virtually half off. Our dinners with a bottle of wine were about $50 and breakfast buffet was wonderful at $11 a person. Pools were nice/on site spa/ on site tour agent who was very helpful with other questions we had. "Perfect location in can cun"
I have been to can cun twice before this visit and this location by far is the best. On the point at the end of the hotel zone. Very short walk to the main restaurants. Property was at the Hyatt regency standard without a doubt . I upgraded to the club level and definitely worth the extra money. Continental break fast was good. Nice to have cocktails […] and apps included. Had decent wines and most beers. That alone covered the extra change. When I went to check in, bell men had my name and took us right up to the club level to check in. Offered us cocktails even though it was after the cocktail hour. Service was excellent! Rooms were nice. Not the most comfortable bed in the world but fine. I would definetly return. One word of caution with the vendors on the street selling tours, buy from a kiosk that is close to the hotel and a permanent kiosk. I bought one by Carlos and Charlie's that was not as nice and we were left off the list. We wasted two hours in the am waiting in front of the hotel and missed any option to get on a tour to tulum/chel hah. Had to rent a car which was fine. Was able to get my $100 deposit back but a bad experience. Overall it is very safe in can cun and even driving outside the city on the toll roads to the major attractions. This was our first time going to Cancun and it wasnt bad. The hotel is ok. The people who work for the hotel were GREAT. Rooms were just ok. Beach was great and the water was very calm!! We upgraded to the Regency Club, which really made our stay more pleasant. We were met in the parking lot and instructed to leave our car out front. As soon as we arrived at the Hyatt Regency in Cancun, I could tell it was a modest hotel compared to all the huge resorts, but I was amazed at how beautiful the hotel lobby was, and the lounge, and the pool, and view, the restaurants, everything! We were walking distance from the main Cancun Nightlife and many restaurants, and shopping centers. The beach at the hotel was most definitely the best there is, just calm and the water so nice. The restaurant had really great food and for very reasonable price. The staff was so friendly and hospital. They do make you sign a form that you won't be bringing food in, but they don't really enforce it. We snuck it in a couple times. "Auful service"
Read this, it's important. We got here after 2 weeks around Mexico The experience was really bad! This hotel offers a luxurious vacation, however the service was so bad, it was almost insulting. The general feeling was that you're as welcome as the amount you tip the crew. We got to the pool on the first day and everyone was nice, but the next day they […] practically ignored us, since they didn't like the amount of tip we left them the first day, they didn't even come to open the parasol not to mention asking if we wanted a drink. After eating lunch at the restaurant and paying the bill, the waiter came running after us asking us if that is all the tip we're leaving him. Those things are just the tip of the iceberg, this attitude was almost everywhere at the hotel. They made us feel like we were some kind of cheapskates after paying a lot of money for the hotel and tipping the crew. Other than that, prices were not written on many things, they had tea bags on the complementary coffee bar in the room, and we found out that they charged us money for it, the deli had two different menus 1 in front of the register and 1 more twice expensive which was hidden, we found out that after drinking a cappuccino. After all that and more we went to talk to the manager and he did absolutely nothing except saying that he is sorry, he didn't offer any solution or compensation. Fruen og jeg tilbrakte åtte netter i Cancun og hadde vår beste ferie! Vi landet midt på natten og sjekket inn på hotellet rundt klokken 1. Innsjekking gikk alldeles utmerket med varm og hyggelig velkomst, tross sent tidspunkt. Da vi kom opp på rommet la vi merke til at rommet ikke var i 100 %. Morgenen fikk vi en hyggelig beklagelse fra hotellet og […] fikk byttet hotellrom og ble oppgradert til rom med havutsikt som "et plaster på såret". Betjening er helt fantastiske - vennlige, hjelpsomme og imøtekommende. Servicen er upåklagelig og møter du dem med et vennlig smil får du det tidobbelte tilbake. Hotellet ligger rett ved stranden og (heldigvis) litt unna strandområdet hvor det altfor mange høylytte turister. Strandområdet er rent og pent og solsengene er gratis for hotellets gjester. Vi hadde så og si samtlige lunsjer og frokoster, samt en middag på hotellets restaurant. Fantstisk mat til en ikke altfor høy pris. Da vi skulle reise og sa farvel til betjeningen, følte vi at vi resite fra våre venner! Vi anbefaler Hyatt Regency på det varmeste og er begge enige om at vi skal tilbake!
