The most important for me was the security I felt there. The hotel was superb and the customer safety was just as great. The restaurant served excellent meals!

The hotel was located in the best part of the city. The rooms were great except that the bathroom was not private. For the price that we paid, it should have included breakfast. But overall, I would recommend the hotel on just the location.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. It is not a luxury hotel by any means, but is comfortable & very well located for our interests (near to many museums). the roof terrace is most pleasant. Rooms are small but adequate.

The hotel terrace overlooks the Zocolo, and the rooms inevitably have some noise. But it is comfortable, fairly efficient and a pleasant place to be in the city centre.

The room was small, but had all you needed - after all, there is that much to see in Mexico City that you won't spend much time inside it unless you're sleeping! Although noisy on the first night, the remainder of the week the hotel noise level was perfectly acceptable. Housekeeping did a splendid job, and the room was always clean and tidy on our return […] from sightseeing. The breakfast buffet is massive, well varied, and changes from day to day - there was always something different, and it was all delicious - on several days we ate so much that the breakfast lasted us for the entire day. Eating out on the restaurant balcony was a treat in itself, with the view of the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, and the Zocalo (Main Square). The hotel is situated right in the centre of the old town, and you can quite easily spend a week there and not see everything there is to see within walking distance ... but if you want to go further out (and you really should visit the pyramids at Teotihuacan and the canals at Xochimilco), the hotel will sort transport for you and are very helpful. Despite some rather dodgy reviews in travel books, I think it's also worth noting that I found the centre of the city to be both friendly and safe. The staff of this hotel were generally obliging and helpful. However, the person operating the tourism section in the hotel lobby could do with an in-service course on the need for providing detail (times, programme of events and what 'including lunch' actually means) to the prospective customer. Still, the intensity of traffic in this city of c.28 […] million people might help explain the difficulty under which such people operate. Intending guests should understand that a room with a street view might mean a half a window with a glimpse of the outside world. Still, despite the above comments, our stay was enjoyable. Der kunne ikke fås et værelse som bestillt, med 2 senge og vindu udad. Enden var det et meget lille værelse med dobbeltseng og en minivindu udad i 2 m højde, hvor man slet ikke kunne se ud, eller et værelse med 2 senge med vinduet indad, uden frisk luft. Personalet var delvist ikke særlig venlige og hjælpsom.

zentrale Lage, herrliche Terasse mit Blick auf die Kathedrale und den Zokalo sonst schlechter sevice , sehr kleine Zimmer, beim Frühstück waren die Tische ( um 09 uhr) noch nicht vorbereitet, große Auswahl beim frühstück nur wenn das Hotel gut belegt war
