This sprawling business, commercial, and entertainment center never lets up. It is a modern Japanese phenomenon with shopping arcades, flashing neon signs, stand-up noodle bars, and side-street video screens. Some two million people pass through the train station alone. Futuristic-looking City Hall offers a free observation deck with great city views.

"Right price...right location"
Good hotel. Close to Shinjuku station. Easy access to metro, shopping, food, etc. 7 eleven right next door. Only setback is no wireless in the rooms. Must use it free in the lobby.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Citadines Shinjuku - good location, good price"
I usually try to stay at Citadines Shinjuku whenever I am in Tokyo. Very central Shinjuku location and easy connection to Subway and JR. Lots of bars and eating places in the vicinity. This is mostly a hotel for extended stay guest, so don't expect the service you would expect from a normal hotel. The staff could be a bit friendlier, but they are there […] when you need them. The rooms are very roomy for Japan with fridge and mini-kitchen. Forget about the breakfast at this hotel, better get something in one of the many cafes nearby! "Are you kidding me?!?!?!"
I stayed in Tokyo for 1 night. The hotel has a feel of an extended stay motel and is in a seedy part of town. I settled on this place particularly because it was a top pick on trip advisor. be warned -- the only thing nice about this place is the cleanliness of the hotel room.
