Stayed in a room with two single bed facing Shinjuku city. The room is basic; two beds, 32 inch LCD tv, desk, mini fridge, 2 chairs and a small table. Being. My husband and I had a lovely experience with this hotel. We were afraid the bed would be too small from the picture given, as I've stayed in Japan before and know the beds are typically small, but it was perfect size for us (and we are not small people). The room, while a bit small, was again perfectly sized to keep our luggage and relax comfortably […] in. The room was clean and well-stocked; in the shower is a dispenser for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which are all high-quality. Also given are disposable combs, safety razors, and tooth brushes with tooth paste. The staff were courteous. I was told via review that they knew no English, and this is not true; maybe not fluent, but well-versed enough to handle check-in, check-out, and typical requests. The breakfast buffet is alright. You have to buy a ticket from the front desk. We got a discount for doing it the night before. Check it out if you want a big breakfast that is largely traditional Japanese, as there aren't really any breakfast places nearby besides convenience marts. The one thing I might warn for is LOCATION - this hotel is a 25 or so minute walk from the Shinjuku train station, and a ways from the local Shinjuku sanchome subway. If you are a walker, this place is good for you. If you need a place near the trains, you probably want somewhere else. Read more

If you arrive at JR Shinjuku station, take a taxi to the hotel. About ¥800-900. Hotel is a bit far from the station to walk WITH luggage. Once you check-in and drop your bags off, take the area map from the front desk and explore the area on foot. It's about a 15-20 walk back to JR Shinjuku station. You'll find everything from dinning to shopping, drinking […] to entertainment from your walk in the area. Please note that this is a no-frills hotel. It does it's job in providing a roof over your head, a bed and hot running water. Staff speaks enough English and checkout is at 10a. They will hold your luggage if you have a later flight to catch. Single occupents get the best veiw at the hotel. The rooms for singles are very small but because they are located on the back corners of each floor you get two views of the shinjuku area. Most of the staff speaks English and are very kind. They have a lot of AulstraiIians and Americans staying there. They serve a buffett 3 times a day. I did not try the lunch or dinner but if you want American food they do serve an American style breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance to Shinjuku gyoemmae station on the Marunouchi Line - subway is easy to use and one can get anywhere with transfers. Great Hotel. FREE unlimited internet was a great feature for me to feel that I am not away from my family. The room was nice and clean and welcoming every time I come in. Staffs are very good. They were still helpful even though they are trying to understand what I say. I would stay in this hotel if I visit Tokyo again.

Great in terms of cleanliness, facilities, and proximity to convenience stores, a couple restaurants, and Tokyo metro, but a good 10 to 15 minutes walk from the major commercial area of Shinjuku and the JR Shinjuku station. Some of the staff were almost completely unable to converse in English. Worth the stay if reasonably priced.

Not the best immediate area, but it's really close to the awesome Golden Gai and Kabukicho areas, and not too far from Shinjuku and all it's bright lights. Some of the staff could have been a little more helpful and friendly, but they were nice and we got the basic info we needed. I would recommend this to a couple, family, single, young or old. Great hotel - problem was the address took us to the wrong location using google maps. The area looks like an industrial estate - but not far from the Shinjuku-Gyeon metro line which was good. reception staff good but lack basic english language. hotel quite far from Shinjuku station takes good 30 min to walk each way. rooms lack WIFI as advertised in Expedia, their broadband service is hard to connect and very slow if you succeed to connect. TV does not have bilingual system so its all in japanese. their breakfast is quite expensive.

距離最接近的新宿3丁目亦要行走10分鐘，要走到新宿JR足夠20分鐘，十度左右的氣溫，推着行李到達酒店後亦出汗了。我是去購物玩樂的，不能於中午回酒店放下戰利品，拿着一整天十分辛苦；且晚晚回酒店時亦有點氣餒，而且路有點靜，有一點點擔心。離開的當晚，我真的不想推着行李箱走在那人來人往的新宿街上20分鐘，故乘的士到JR新宿西口，約880YEN.。總結而言，不太建議以購物為主的女性們選擇。

가격대비 호텔의 수준에는 만족스러웠습니다. 한국말을 할 줄 아는 사람도 있어서 편하게 체크인도 했으며, 직원들의 친절도 또한 좋았습니다. 호텔의 청결도에도 만족을 느낄 수 있었으며, 옆방과의 방음도 만족할 만한 수준이었습니다. 다만 신주쿠역에서 멀다는게 좀 흠이라고 할 수 있네요. 구경다하고 돌아올때 조금 힘든감이 없지 않았다는 말을 해 주고 싶네요. 거리를 생각한다면 다른 곳을 찾아보는게 좋을 듯 하네요. 그 점 빼고는 다 만족스러운 호텔이라고 저는 생각이 드네요.

東京滞在の際は、ほぼ利用しています。羽田からのアクセスはまずます。駅から少し距離がありますが、新宿3丁目駅が最寄りのため、アクセスは良好です。場所が分かりにくいので、一度医大の通りに出てから探した方がわかりやすいかと思います。

It was an amazing stay! The hotel itself is around a 20 minute walk, depending on the traffic lights, so you get a little exercise. On a cold day, it is also possible to walk most of the way to the station underground in the metro system! Being a little away from the center of Shinjuku is actually really nice, when you want to go home and rest in peace […] and quiet, but you can still just walk around 15 minutes down the street and find entertainment of all sorts. The rooms are small like every other room in Tokyo would be, but the bed has a decent size if you are not incredibly tall. There is a large mirror and all in all the room is really well light in a cozy way (eg. no white neon in the ceiling), and you can actually dim some of the lights if you want. The only two complaints I have is that the refrigerator was not working (but we did not really need it either) and the covers were a bit thin (but any excuse to snuggle up and sleep close though). The immediate surrounding area is full of cheep places to eat and convenience stores where you always can find a large amount of snacks and some food. There is also some restaurants a little further away (tops 10 minutes) and they are also really cheep! And just being in walking distance from one of the most lively stations in Tokyo is always a fun experience, with a lot of good shopping opportunities. Read more

Listel Hotel Shinjuku, ligger knappt 5 minuter ifrån stationen Shinjuku san-chome, är verkligen inte långt ifrån station eller från Shinjuku Station som påstått. Lätt att hitta, bara att fixa en app som använder satellit/gps om problem uppstår. Är närliggande till en del konbini, Family Mart är knappt 1 minut ifrån, även en Yoshinoya på samma ställe. […] Personalen på hotellet pratar bra engelska, hade inga problem som helst att varken checka in eller ut. Hade ett rum på 6e våningen på Annex delen av hotellet, rökfri våning och det va det också. Utsiken från mitt rum va mot en annan byggnad, men jag kom inte dit för att sitta på rummet och titta ut ur fönstret, det finns både LAN och Wifi, båda funkar utmärkt, sängen är stor och relativt bekväm och badrummet är bra också. Om man vill se andra delar av Tokyo så kan man lätt och billigt ta sig dit, Kabukicho är knappt 10 minuter att gå till, samma för Shinjuku. Och genom shinjuku station kan man snabbt och billigt ta sig till många områden snabbt och billigt, förutom ställen runt Akihabara och Ueno, om man hade tänkt åka upp i Sky Tree, men det rör sig bara om knappt 20min att åka. Allt annat ligger riktigt nära. Hade läst en del negativa recensioner innan detta, men kan säga att från min egna erfarenheter med hotellet inte håller med om något dåligt som har sagt, är nog svårt att hitta någon billigare med så bra läge, service och bekvämligheter. とても快適に過ごさせてもらいました。浴槽がもう少し広ければいいなあ、と思いましたが、スペースの関係でしかたのないことなのでしょうね。あと、お風呂のカーテンが幅が短くて水しぶきが外に多少飛んでしまうので、もっと完全に浴槽を覆うだけの幅が（長さではなく）あれば、と思いました。全体的にはとてもよかったです。
