Very nice location, so close to Tokyo station and Kyobashi station (on Ginza line)! Walk to Imperial Palace area and Ginza. Staff was very helpful. 7-11 is attached to the hotel. Smoking on some floors, so even if you stay on a non-smoking floor you may get a whiff of smoke at times in the hallway (something you should try to be flexible about in Tokyo […] anyway). Didn't eat at the restaurant in the hotel. so can't say anything about it. My only complaint is that the window (at least in my room) didn't open which would've been nice to get fresh air, even just a crack, particularly after showering when the room gets pretty stuffy. Nice view though. Fan might've been really quiet or a/c wasn't working, not sure... but generally the room was cool the way I wanted it, so it probably was working. I would stay there again, but ask if they have any rooms that have windows that open a bit. Read more

We ended up staying a number of nights here.. both at the start of our trip and as we passed through Tokyo on trips to Kyoto and Aomori. In all instances, the staff was courteous, willing to help non-Japanese speakers and tremendously accommodating to our requests - that including storing luggage, arranging to have our luggage sent on to another hotel […] and arranging for bus transport to the airport. I just can't say enough about the smiles and willingness to help no matter how trivial the request. Having a 7-11 next door and a decent coffee shop and restaurant (Wisteria) upstairs also helped on occasion. It took awhile to get used to the bathrooms in our rooms - smallish by American standards and had the feel of an "insert" but everything worked and our requests for extra pillows and towels were met without issue. Japanese hotels provide many more "extras" in the bathroom however - including sponge, shaver, etc. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided in on-wall dispensers in the shower. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from Tokyo Station making it very convenient for us as we took the subway and Shinkansen many times on our tourist trips. They were very helpful in providing a 3 to 2 prong outlet and directions and getting a cab early for the Tsujiki Fish Market. The Willows was a good place for dinner and the 7-11 outstanding for a quick bite and to pick up cash from the ATM. The only thing they need is WiFi instead of just hook up with a cable.

I love this hotel, I've now stayed here twice (24 days in all!) it is perfect thanks to how close it is to Tokyo Station. Only 10 minutes to Akihabara, makes it really easy to stop by for a quick visit to 1 of the many stores. The room has internet (via LAN) for both of my stays, a mini fridge and a 7/11 off of the lobby. I couldn't ask for more from […] a Tokyo hotel, also the rates are very reasonable. The staff are extremely helpful. I once lost a bag at the airport and they went to great lengths in helping me have it returned. This hotel is a gem and I plan on staying there again. Read more

The hotel was very convenient for access tot he ACT City conference center. The hotel was very clean and up to date. The breakfast was included and very delicious. Easy to find - on street on east side of station, south of station, and name of hotel very visible in English on side of hotel. 7-11 right next to hotel, with door to go from one to the other. We were staying in Shibuya but as we wanted to catch an early Shinkansen to Kyoto we moved close to Tokyo Station for one night. We had the standard 16 sq metre semi-double room with a view of Tokyo. The hotel has easy access to the restaurants at Tokyo station and surrounds as well as Ginza and Marunouchi. We dragged our suitcases to the Shinkansen […] and we were on the platform waiting for the train in less than 15 minutes, including checkout. This is a typical Japanese hotel, rooms aren't the biggest. But clean, tidy, good price and good staff. Great location short walk to Tokyo central station, or Ginza in the other direction. Some Japanese chain pubs near by, and a 7/11 in the foyer, plus UCC Coffee House. Convention centre is less than a block away. The Yaesu Fujiya is a great hotel for location, as everything is in easy reach. In particular it is only a five minute walk to / from the train station, making it very easy to get to and from Narita using the Narita Express. Have stayed in this hotel before and will do so again when next in Tokyo.

Great place, great service. Room was smaller than the average hotel room in N.America, but enough space to store 6 luggage bags, and comfortable for two. Location was good, less than 5mins walk to main subway lines in Tokyo. Also surround by places to eat, shop, and walk.

Værelserne er små, men det er japanske boliger også. Og der er alt, inklusive et supergodt wifi net. I hvert fald på 5 sal. På 16. Sal var udsigten bedre end nettet. Husk at bestille ikke-ryger værelse! Baren er velforsynet. Spis morgenmad ude som normalt i Tokyo!

야에스 남쪽 출구에서 5분 정도 걸어가면 길 건너편에 호텔이 위치하고 있습니다. 역에서 가까워서 좋았고, 1층 편의점도 바로 연결이 되어 편했네요. 호텔에서 바라보는 도쿄역의 모습이 활기찼고, 직원들도 친절했습니다. 만족합니다. 추천 할만해요.

Tutto ottimo, grande cortesia ed aiuto nella "soluzione dei problemi" anche di carattere personale. Ottimo Inglese, ottima colazione a buffet. 야에스 후지야 호텔은 도쿄의 중심부라고 할 수 있는 마루노우치에 위치해 어디든 가기 좋은 위치라고 할 수 있고 교통이 전부지나는 도쿄역 근처에 있어서 찾기도 편할 뿐더러 어느 관광지로도 쉽게 갈 수 있는 접근성을 띄고 있습니다. 객실내부는 작지만 깨끗하게 정돈되어 있어서 일본을 잘 느낄 수 있는 호텔이라고 생각됩니다. 한국말을 하는 스태프는 없지만 간단한 영어로 전부 통하며 모두 친절하여서 불편을 느끼지 못했습니다. 야에스 후지야 꼭 다시 오고싶네요.

Plass koster mye penger i Tokyo, og rommene er derfor ikke veldig store. Det er dog det eneste "negative" jeg har å si om hotellet, og løses enkelt ved å pakke fornuftig. Aldri har jeg møtt mer serviceinnstilte mennesker, være seg renholdere, resepsjonister eller i bar/restaurant. Et stort pluss at de også har en døgnåpen 7-11 med egen inngang fra hotellfoajeen. Beliggenheta […] er, som tittelen sier, midt i smørøyet. Fra hotellet kan man enkelt nå Imperial Palace Plaza (5min gange), Sony Building og den utsøkte handleplassen Ginza (8min). For en litt lengre gåtur kan man oppsøke Tsukiji Fish Market, verdens største fiskemarked, i lett tempo på ca. 20min. Viktig å merke seg at hotellet ligger i et av de roligste strøkene i Tokyo, omringa stort sett av eksklusive butikker, kontorer og ikke minst keiserfamiliens egne residenter. Har man lyst til å utforske de litt travlere stedene er de lett tilgjengelige via et meget godt utvikla tognett, og selveste Tokyo Central Station ligger kun 5-6min unna (Yaesu South Entrance). PS: Sko skal aldri brukes inne på hotellrommene. Den mest korrekte måten er å ta de av ved døra, for så å bære de inn; det er som oftest eget avlukke for sko på hver side av døra. Read more

Stayed here for 10 days. Very nice hotel at a very convenient location in Ginza, near Tokyo station. Stayed in a room (relatively spacious, larger than my previous hotel room in Ginza) with good view, clean, next to a convenience store, next to shopping district in Ginza, got this room for a good price-quality ratio.
