My partner and I had a fantastic 9 day stay in Tokyo. I speak only the most rudimentary Japanese and he spoke none at all. We were very welcomed and comfortable at the B Roppongi. His birthday happened to take place during our trip and I wanted to surprise him with a special evening. I had researched yakatebune boat dinners on the Tokyo bay but was […] unable to book a reservation from the USA. A member of the front desk staff was able to help me coordinate a complicated reservation despite my lack of Japanese language skills and we celebrated a wonderful night. She continued to provide us with helpful tips throughout our stay. Although it was winter and chilly, the temperature of the hotel was fine with the window open on the second floor and weren't too bothered by the local partying noise. The option of complimentary Japanese and Western breakfast was the best part of our trip because we didn't need to worry about finding restaurants in the morning, which seemed to be lacking elsewhere. Please keep in mind that there is not wi-fi in the rooms for portable devices (ipad/iphone). We rented a hotspot that was delivered to the airport for us on our arrival - it was even better than having hotel wifi because it went on the subway and outings with us. The B Roppongi is ideal for the great service, convenient location and pleasant atmosphere for world travelers. Read more

This is a very nice hotel and it is located in a very good spot. It's about 300 feet from Roppongi station and as soon is you get to the station and turn left you are on the main strip of Roppongi. Room came with a free buffet style breakfast from 7-11 which had a very good selection including: scrambled eggs, salmon, rice, assorted breads, toast, fruit, […] miso soup, milk, water, tea, orange juice and more. Super convenient, lots of 24-hour food options and a convenience store on the same block. There was easy access to subway system at the end of the block, lots of food options, and breakfast! The room sizes are small though typical for the area and nicely furnished. The bed is firm and doubles as a couch, and there is only enough room for a tiny table […] in the entry area. The bathroom was reasonable sized, with a deep tub for soaking. Their toilets are a bit odd for a Western traveler because of their water saving devices installed on the seat. I will stay this hotel again in my next visit in Tokyo. Good locations, great breakfast, excellent mattress. My room is just next to elevator and facing main street. But I don't really hear the noise. Please be sure you request no smoking room when do the reservation if you hate the smell. My friend forgot to do that. The location is not at the best session of Roppongi but still good. Though there are many "clubs" near-by, after all it's Tokyo, I didn't feel dangerous or threaten when I'm myself. I really enjoyed my stay at The B Roppongi! I stayed in the double room, the room was great but a bit small. The hotel service was very nice and helpful. The hotel is like 2 minutes away from the subway station. The free breakfast was delicious and the kitchen staff was very nice :). I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

The B Roppongi is a great center of Tokyo hotel for budget wise business travelers and tourists. Recently remodeled at the end of 2010. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Free wifi for all guests. Short walking distance to the Roppongi area, and one block from the Roppongi Station for the Oeda line and the Hibiya Line.

The hotel is very clean, recently remodeled, and very centrally located near the Hibiya and Oedo subway lines in central Tokyo, which makes it perfect for navigating Tokyo. We were really pleased with this hotel. The price was great for the location and worked out find for the 3 of us (husband, 10 year old and me). Having breakfast included was a great money saving factor in Tokyo too. We used the subway to get everywhere and nothing was more than one change away. The room was small but functional. It included a desk and […] a mini fridge. We were not able to unpack our bags nor leave them open due to space in the room but we were only there for 3 days, so not a big deal to open one suitcase, take out clothes for the day and close it up and move on to the next one. I would stay here again for the location and reasonable price. We were on the 8th floor on the highway side of the building and could hear some general white noise from the highway but never heard anyone talking or the elevator or noise from other rooms. I stayed at the B Roppongi for 6 nights in October 2011. Let me start by saying the location of this hotel is sensational! If you're keen to check out some of Tokyo's wilder nightlife then this is placed ideally in the heart of Roppongi just a short walk from the infamous Roppongi Crossing. I flew into Narita airport and caught the Keisei express train […] to Ueno station - from there you can easily transfer the the Ueno subway line. Catch the Hibiya line and it's about a 25 minute journey to Roppongi station, right near the end of the Hibya line. From there, take exit 5 and turn to your right, the hotel is literally across the other side of the street. There are a few stairs to walk up so be mindful of that if you have a heavy case - there is no ramp as such to avoid them which would have been a handy inclusion. I stayed in a double room to get some extra space, I was lucky enough to be on the top floor and my room had an incredible view of the Tokyo tower and the Mori Building. From my room I could see nightclub promoters hassling people trying to get into their clubs and lots of people stumbling around enjoying a fun night out in Roppongi! The room itself was pretty well sized by Japanese standards - but if you're not used to Japanese hotels you'll probably find it small. There was free high speed internet available but I found the cable supplied was a little damaged and had to plug it in several times to get a connection. If you can, I'd recommend bringing your own LAN cable to plug in. The bed was super comfortable compared to the last Japanese hotel I stayed at. I was a bit confused that there was no closet - instead there was a rod attached to the wall with a few hangers. My room came with a free breakfast served downstairs in the restaurant - it's definitely a business focused hotel, I must have been one of the few tourists staying there.
