Jasmine Delta - Linen-service pan-Asian restaurant for à la carte dinner. Two seatings nightly. Reservations required.
Nyamings Restaurant - Second-floor open-air restaurant above Pick-a-Pepper, with ocean view. Serves Jamaican à la carte dinner. Two seatings nightly. Reservations required.
Beach Snack Grill - Located in the center of the property, this open-air spot occupies a rocky point on the beach. Burgers, jerk chicken, other light foods.
Pool bar - Adjacent to the Pick-a-Pepper Restaurant, this bar is open from mid-morning.
English Pub - This adults-only bar with pool table is open nightly for dancing.

Guests at this all-inclusive Jamaican resort have access to a private, white sand beach directly from the property. Beach sun loungers/chaise longues are provided. Guests also have use of two lighted tennis courts and a fitness center. Besides splashing in the two swimming pools and the five coves along the beach, water lovers can also try snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, and an introductory scuba diving lesson in the pool. A dive center at the Royal Decameron offers full scuba diving certification courses and trips (surcharges). Glass-bottom boat trips are available (surcharge).
The SuperClubs Golf Course, an 18-hole layout, is open to the public and 2.5 km (1.5 miles) from the resort.

"A Has Been Resort!!"
When I first contacted Royal Decameron I was interested in whether there was an adults only swimming area. They said yes, however, when we got there kids were playing all around the pool area. While the rooms were clean, there was much to be desired in the quality of the room. There was light coming through the doors and the roof shingles. The shower […] curtain was place too far into the tub area so that it stuck to you as you showered. There wasn't a refrigerator in the room. They provided 1 liter of drinking water for a 1 week stay. The WIFI to get internet service did not always work and the service was out for 2 and a half days. The food was so mediocre to bad that we hated to go at meal time towards the end. There was hardly any taste to the desserts. The salad dressings were very watery and did not taste very good. We often had to get our own coffee or water. Service in the dining area was below par for even a 2 star hotel. We talked to people who had been there many times and they said that they would not be back. Entertainment was awful. "A bargain sometimes comes with a price to pay....."
Internet and WIFI down almost the entire 3 days I was there. Front desk clueless and indifferent. Arrived to find no towels and no toiletry items in the room. Food indifferent with no presentation. Waited 25 minutes for a made-to-order omelet each morning. Had to hail a wait person to get a table setting. Food and bar service understaffed for the amount […] of traffic they were dealing with. Pool good and glass-bottom boat ride was excellent. I would not return there. Had to cancel a room and was unable to do so at the resort. "Bait and switch"
We booked 7 months in advance. When we arrived we were told they were overbooked and sent to another property they recently purchased. It was an old resort that hadn't had much upkeep in the last 30 years-no ice, plumbing that barely worked, small beach. Not at all what was advertised and what we booked-and they had the nerve to call it an upgrade.The […] management was not very helpful, though I'm sure the decision to overbook in order to fill up the new place was made above their pay grade. "unwanted house guests"
The staff at the lower end that is the bar tenders, life guards, waiters, housekeepers and bell hops were very attentive, sympathetic and pleasant however, the management was rude unwilling unpleasant and even rude in solving problems created by there own inefficiencies. This set the tone for the stay even though we tried our best to remain positive […] throughout our stay. The hotel has recently changed management and booking agents and guests were not advised before hand. This was reflected in the management and staff relationship which the guests could clearly see. Guests were made to feel unwanted by management who was will to ship us off to another property not of comparable style to that of our booking. "Definately stay at Fun Caribbean!"
My husband and I just returned 1/23/2012 from 8 days in Jamaica first staying at the Club Caribbean. I booked a bungalow garden view and received a room (506) in the "apartments". We had a lovely large deck outside, but inside the water pressure was dreadful. We never knew if we were going to get scalded from the hot water or not have any at all. The […] toilet overflowed twice, once out into our bed because the refill line had so much pressure it was squirting out the top. They definately cater to the French! They didn't seem to bother us as we made the best of it. The workers were wonderful! Devon is great! The jetty bar was a blast. Now the great part! We had the opportunity to spend a day at the new resort they just recently acquired, Fun Caribbean! YOU WANT TO STAY AT THIS RESORT!!! We able spent the last 2 days of our vacation at this resort. 3 large pools, water slides, great snorkeling, all kinds of water sports and great drinks (take your own plastic glass w/lid and straw you can get at any Target/Walmart, etc). They speak and entertain in English, which was much appreciated. The food variety was much better at this resort. The downfall, we like to tip all who assist us, we arrived on Sat. and they did not have any money and would not get any until Monday, which we left at 6am! Spent 3 nights at this hotel. Our room was beyond basic, looks like it was built back in the 1950's. Room had a bed dresser sofa and1 chair. "Trouble"
My initial thought of this resort was that it was very nice, property was well kept. After settling in I was immediately met with issues. We didnt have any water called front desk they stated they were having issues and turned the water off.... fine... that made we wonder if i even wanted to eat there food if they had no water.....they proceeded to […] turn the water back on later on. That evening we had water but no hot water called front desk again long story short I had to take a cold shower two days in a row. Next issue food was bad no variety what so ever and they didnt even have much Jamaican cuisine which is hard to imagine since you are in Jamaica. Only thing they did ok with was breakfast. I felt like I wasted my money beacuse i eventually started eating off property because of what they served at the buffet. Next problem made a reservation for one of there restaraunts since we weren't impressed with the buffet. waited over an hour to prepare our food before we decided to leave. "Never again"
The hotel is very old. The rooms reminded us of the cheap road side motel. There weren't even any drawers in the room, just one tiny closet. We had to keep our clothe in the suitcases for entire time. Another thing they don't tell you is that they don't have real beds in the rooms. Too many problems to list and as each one was reported, staff said they would report it and nothing was ever done.
