Liked the look of the hotel very much. Friendly staff. The room was great, lovely comfortable beds and nice decor for a 3star hotel. But the food was not good, and was expensive. If you have two coffees at breakfast they charge for the second one! We would have had better value eating at the 5 star restaurant down the road.

A quiet retreat well worth the money. A little strange the hotel room doors didn't have deadbolts. Neat cliff side steps down to a long deck over the ocean.

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights at this hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. We spent most of our time hitting up the Ocho Rios attractions and found it nice to come back to a peaceful hotel. The hotel is in a excellent location away from the city but close enough to all the attractions. The hotel also had kayaks available to us free of charge and […] a pool table. The restaurant has an amazing view of the ocean and good Jamaican breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful with answering all our questions and giving us directions. This is a special place. Of course, it was built some decades ago, so this is not your shiny new all-inclusive with 6 restaurants and 4 pools.... but this is in my opinion a special place to stay. Staff is quick, very friendly, responsive to any request - and you'll go home feeling you experienced a warm Jamaican household - it really feels more like […] a home than a commercial establishment. It just depends on what type of traveler you are - what your preferences are. The food was excellent - healthy, well prepared by Louis (chef). Had the best meal there I had in 8 days in Jamaica. The property sits on a rock bluff overlooking the ocean, with two very nice piers going out over the water so you can swim in the ocean if you like - as well as the pool. 6 of the rooms are right on the waterfront, and the patios housing the restaurant overlooks it all. You can hear the surf - gentle but you can still hear it - on your large patio and even in the room. If you like a quiet yet interesting getaway, this place is perfect. Read more
