"Remotely Located"
The hotel is nice but very far from Florence, Padua and Venezia Mestre. Difficult to get there from the train stations and it takes about an hour bus ride to get to Venice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not very clean, with teeny, tiny showers"
Though inexpensive and convenient to the train to Venice, the room was not clean. An example is the rusty shower caddy with old soap crusted on it. The shower was so small that if you drop your soap you have to get out of the shower to pick it up. Three staff were also not very friendly; not rude, just not warm. "Out of the way...."
This place was cheap, but it was barely worth it. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was fairly clean and very quiet. But the paint was peeling in the shower, there were left over soaps from the last guest. Close to the airport with free shuttle service. Very nice, clean, modern looking, well equipped rooms (i.e. hair dryer, flat screen TV, nice showers, etc.), professional staff. Free wi-fi that works! plus complimentary use of the hotel computers in the lobby if you did not bring your own laptop. The Axor Feria does not have a lounge/bar but the right […] next door sister Hotel Axor (something) does. You are welcome to enjoy that plus the free shuttle service offered there. Except for a mall at walking distance, no much more around; even the metro station is not close. Great choice if you want to be close to the Barajas airport, have a tourist bus to pick up, or don't mind walking, and taking the bus to connect to the metro system. Hotel Villa Alighieri is located in a quiet residential pleasant street in Stra surrounded by beautiful substantial houses1 hours bus drive to Venice. Bus service is a short walking distance from the hotel. The free secure car park is within their property complex. Staff are helpful. The bathroom is small but clean. The shower cubicle is tiny but with good hot showers. Outside the shower cubicle,close to the floor needs some maintenance. I like the hotel . it is clean and currently renovated. It i 32 km from Piazzale Roma, which is entrance of touristic Venice. Took awhile to find but very clean and useful to have private car park. Breakfast was basic but overall for the price excellent value. Road to Venice easy to use approx 30mins. Padua 10 mins by car.
