This is a 5-star hotel, part of which was once a monastery dating back to the 14th Century. The rooms in the converted old monastery are extremely comfortable, but have not been perfectly maintained. For example, the closure for one of the shutters in our room was broken. タオルミーナの高級ホテル、9月末という時期もあって、日本人はもちろんアジア系もほとんど見かけない。修道院を改装したホテルということで味がある建物や美しい中庭は興味深く美しい。ホスピタリティも申し分ない。レストランもミシュランガイド星2つのものがあり、満足度は高い。ただ、建物自体は古いのと、そのためか宿泊者の導線が悪すぎる。またせっかくの高台なのに、プールサイドからの眺望が無い点もマイナス。ジムからもせっかくの海が見えない。古く、伝統的な雰囲気も感じられる佇まいだが、逆に言うと新しく、綺麗な建物を望む向きにはお勧めしない。Genuine Expedia guest review

Je suis allée chez Le San Domenico Palace Hotel pour me detendre avec ma famille et nous avons trouvé exactement ça. La detente totale. J'ai trouvé l'hôtel très beau avec un très beau jardin donnant sur la mer et sur l'Etna. Les vues du jardin sont exceptionnelles et nous avons passé des beaux moments en se promenant au jardin. Partout on pouvait sentir […] le parfums des orangiers et des fleurs. Le personnel de l'hôtel était tous très sympas et ils se sont comportés tous avec un vrai charme d'antan ce que nous avons beaucoup appreciés. Deux points négatifs: Le décor dans les chambres et sur le deuxième étage est à rafraîchir et la qualité de la cuisine n'est pas à la hauteur d'un hôtel de luxe.
