"Close to central station"
This hotel is convenient for staying one or two nights, it's within walking distance from the central station and close to Republique metro stop. (Do NOT get a taxi. The driver told me 5 euros and then charged 15 for a 3 minute drive!) The single room was small, but clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. Til ophold af kortere varighed kan jeg sagtens anbefale Brianza. Det ligger tæt på (gåafstand for de fleste) det centrale Milano og de fleste attraktioner. Alternativt er der ikke langt til flere forskellige metrostationer eller sporvogn. Faktisk kører sporvogne gennem gaden nogle værelser (vores værelse...) ligger ud til, og de kører altså hele natten. […] Det kan godt forstyrre søvnen. Prisen er bestemt rimelig i forhold til beliggenhed. Hotellets kvalitet er ok, men heller ikke mere. Den tredie stjerne må afgjort være givet på baggrund af beliggenhed. Morgenmaden er ikke interessant. Hotellet är MYCKET rent och fint. Personalen är trevlig och hjälpsam. Rummen är mindre, men riktigt fräsha. Det finaste trestjärniga hotellet jag bott på! Ett minus kan vara läget, det ligger emellan centrum och centralstationen. Gillar man att promenera kan man gå emellan allt. Annars kan man njytta spårvagnarna som stannar just utanför hotellets ingång. […] Är man ovan ljud kan man ev. störas av ljudet från dessa kvällstid. "Nur etwas für Schwerhörige"
Solange ein Hotelzimmer und das Bad sauber sind, ist mir alles relativ egal, außer dem Geräuschpegel. Und der ist in diesem Hotel ungewöhnlich hoch. Vor dem Haus laufen drei Straßenbahnlinien (1,3 und 33) vorbei, wobei die Straßenbahnen historisch sind, was durchaus schön ist, dafür aber enorm laut. Man kann natürlich das Fenster schließen und die Airco […] einschalten. Diese heizt das Zimmer dann auf gefühlte 30 Grad auf. Einen Aufzug gibt es nicht, bei schweren Koffern sollte man fit sein. Insgesamt ein etwas lieblos wirkendes Hotel. Aber der Herr am Empfang war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und spricht sogar gut deutsch. Allgemein ist uns aufgefallen, dass viele Hotels in Mailand an diesen alten Straßenbahnlinien gelegen sind. Am besten bei google earth mal nachsehen. Das hatte ich auch gemacht und deshalb ausdrücklich um ein Zimmer nach hinten raus gebeten. Aber diese Hinweise scheinen mir grundsätzlich nicht beachtet zu werden. Wahrscheinlich sind die Zimmer nach hinten ruhig, aber ich habe den Verdacht, dass diese Zimmer den Direktbuchern vorbehalten sind. Verständlich, denn an denen wird mehr verdient.
