The towering Michelangelo Hotel in Milan, Italy, is 2 blocks from Milan's Stazione Centrale, a 15-minute metro ride to the Duomo. The business district is one kilometre away. The hotel is 200 metres from the airport bus terminal and seven kilometres from Milan's Linate Airport.
Hotel Features.
A sculpted steel wall and flat-panel televisions decorate the lobby in the 17-story Michelangelo Hotel. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk, with multilingual concierge staff to assist with sightseeing trips.
Marble floors and cane chairs furnish the Michelangelo Hotel's Ristorante Ghirlandaio which serves Italian dishes and fine wines for lunch and dinner. Dark wood contrasts with chrome in the contemporary David's Bar, named after Michelangelo's famous sculpture. The bar features a mezzanine level housing several Internet points. The signature cocktail is Pietro's Passion, while light meals include David's Salad, a variation on salade nicoise. A complimentary hot and cold breakfast buffet is served daily.
The hotel has 1,300 square metres of meeting space, for up to 1,300 people. Wireless Internet access and newspapers are complimentary.
There is a sauna at the hotel and a fitness centre nearby.

Granite-topped coffee tables and leather armchairs furnish the Hotel Michelangelo's 306 air-conditioned guestrooms. Rooms are decorated with pine furniture, light stucco walls and glass lamps. Amenities include satellite television, complimentary minibars, complimentary wired Internet access and automated window shutters. Upper-floor rooms enjoy views over Milan and the mountains. Aqua-tiled bathrooms have granite sinks and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms are equipped with whirlpool tubs.

The staff was very friendly, and stowed our bags so we could explore until it was time for our train. "Very good stay to stay at while in Milano."
The hotel was just opposite the train central station. The room has all the necessary amenities to make the guest stay comfortable. The internet connection was very good. "Great Hotel, Cost more than advertised"
The only complaint with this hotel is that we were charged additional fees for a double that were not mentioned on hotels.com. This cost us about $50 more per night at an already pricey hotel. Oppholdet på dette hotellet var helt fantastisk. Litt gammeldags bygg, men perfekt service inne, meget god frokost og masse hyggelige småting som badekåper på rommet, tøfler osv. Bra lydisolasjon. Meget bra beliggenhet. Rett ved sentralstasjon, så man kan sjekke inn fort og bruke tid på å utforske byen. Rask innsjekk og utsjekk. T-bane rett ved, og […] det er meget fort å komme til sentrum. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem Hauptbahnhof (2 Minuten zu Fuss). Vom Hotel aus ist man schnell in der grossen Shoppingstrasse (Corso Buenos Aires). Mit der Metro ist man in ca. 5 Minuten beim Dom. Vår italienske venn anbefalte hotell ved sentralstasjonen. Michelangelo lå rett over gaten, med kort avstand til handlestrøk, kaffebarer og restauranter - og ikke minst med gode Aperitivo barer i gåavstand! Hotellet ligger i et rolig område, vi ble ikke fostyrret av trafikk, det var romslige rom med god standard.
