The heart of Ancient Rome, all roads led to the Forum. Visitors flock here to walk the streets where Julius Caesar once trod when this was the centre of commercial, political and judicial life. Nearby, the Colosseum, described by Lord Byron as 'the gladiators' bloody circus', is the world's most famous amphitheatre and the most impressive of all Rome's buildings and ruins.

1. Very noisy; located on a busy street that doesn't quiet down until the early hours of dawn. 2. No shower. Hand held device in an unsecured area. 3. Price exceeded for better hotels in much better locations. 4. Staff were great, room clean, bed comfortable but noise, price, and no shower added up to bad value.Genuine Expedia guest review
