Rome is fairly pricey, Testaccio B&B is not and still it's fairly close to the center of Rome. Travel times range from 20 minutes walking to the Colosseum... and 50 minutes or so walking to the Vatican. The four of us (parents, 2 children 17 & 11) walked in and out of the city each day. What really makes staying at Testaccio B&B special, however, is Elena. She is fantastic. She goes out of her way to make your stay a pleasure. She takes a tremendous interest in her guests. Located in Rome (Aventine - Testaccio), Bed & Breakfast Testaccio is close to Sant'Alessio all'Aventino, Roman Forum, and Colosseum. Also nearby are St. Peter's Basilica and Circus Maximus.

Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. Additional amenities include multilingual staff, tour/ticket assistance, and an elevator (lift).

Good location in a nice and quiet area, just a bridge away from trastevere. The rooms were good and the owner was helpfull. She got a private car to drive us to the airport. Breakfast was in the café nearby where you got a coffee and a small sandwich. Fedt område uden så mange turister og restauranter, hvor italienerne selv kommer. Elena er sød og meget hjælpsom, men "hotellet" er ikke noget specielt. Vi havde 7 overnatninger og der blev gjort rent en gang. Køleskabet kunne dårligt køle og havde kun plads til 6 dåseøl. Værelset, med eget bad, var kedeligt og så "brugt" ud. Der var ikke mulighed for […] at sidde ned ud over på sengen og hvis man var meget over gennemsnitsstørrelsen var det en udfordring at gå i bad. Men Elena er som sagt sød og hjælpsom og taler et ok engelsk. Prisen er ok og da det vel egentligt bare er et sted man sover er det vel godt nok. Men omådet er dejligt og det er helt sikkert at næste gang vi skal til Rom så er det i det område vi vil bo i og her vi primært vil spise. Read more

B&b sympa dans un chouette cartier. La gérante vraiment très aimable et disponible. Bien situé, entre 3 arrêts de bus d'où on arrive facilement au centre historique, Colisée ou bien le Vatican. Ne rater pas une promenade dans le Trastevere, juste de l'autre côté de la rivière.
