Rome’s central train station, Termini is the entry point to the city from Fiumicino Airport, and is an impressive modern architectural sight. The UNA Hotel Roma is only one block from the Metro, train station and bus station. The staff was friendly and helpful. WiFi was very reasonably priced and the breakfast was more than adquate. Breakfast included eggs, meats, fruits and cereals. Our stay was six days and there was enough variety that we did not eat the same thing each morning. My wife and I stayed one week at UNA Hotel Rome. Great, safe location in a well lit area with plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was ready for us upon arrival at noon. The staff is very helpful and the hotel is very clean and modern. King size bed was very comfortable. Our room was on the fourth floor front of the hotel. You can not hear trains […] because the hotel is one block away from the train station, but you could see the entrance of the train station from our room. A local trolly runs next to to the hotel but the occasional sound from that did not bother us at all. Bathroom was CLEAN and that is important to us. However, bring your own washcloth if you want one. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, American brand cereals, pastry and more. Be prepared to pay the 3 euro per person per day tax at the end of your stay. We have high standards and were very pleased with UNA Hotel Rome. Only real complaint is no free internet. This hotel was a VERY pleasant surprise! We reserved our rooms w/o even knowing that the hotel was less than 1 year old - the rooms were impeccable. The conveniences of the room were high quality & ultra modern - rain shower, speaker in bathroom, toiletries, remote control lights, flat screen tv, amongst others. The location was ideal as it is steps […] away from termini station (the hub of transportation) and other historical sites that you will pass during any bus tour. It was super easy to get food and some shopping done as it was w/in mins to the main street that offered the great variety. The complimentary breakfast is abundant and has a great variety of breads, cheese, and juices to fill up on for your walking adventures in Rome. The front desk staff was super helpful and gave us a recommendation to what turned out to be the BEST food in Rome!! The hotel is very new and nice. It is well suited for american standards. My only complaint was that they tried to sell us an upgrade when we checked in and we said no. Staff got kind of upset and a little rude. Also, wifi was not included it was 6euros per hour. I think that wifi should be a given, but in europe is rarely included so I guess it was […] normal not to be included. I still did not like that :( ... On the plus side, the hotel is located a block from the termini train station. We traveled to florence, venice, pompeii, during the day and returned to rome at night, so it was excellent! We walked to all the sites, which was a hike, but the metro station is right by the train station so everything is extremelly accessible. The breakfast was also really good.
