San Daniele - Town House Suite

This hotel was unlike any other hotel I've ever stayed at! The man that owns the hotel is the sweetest guy- his wife and daughter help run the hotel so it is truly a family owned property. We had a great room with a VERY nice air conditioning!!! Thank god for that because it was pretty hot outside. The room was like a little apartment- with no kitchen. […] It was so nice :) Also, the location couldn't have been any better. It was right next to the places we wanted to explore and a few really great cafes. I would recommend staying here if you want a comfortable, clean place to stay! Andrea and Celeste were excellent with us, very attentive and friendly! But the room is very noisy (close to a major street). The bathroom had a terrible smell of sewage, especially on the second day, and the shower box is so tight you can barely raise your arms to scrub your head. We spent a fantastic week staying at San Daniele which is located at the very center of everything in the hip Monti area of Rome. The hosts Andrea and Celeste were very helpful and the room was facing a quiet alley, which guaranteed a good night's sleep. The room we had was fine, and very clean, but there was a weird smell in the hall. This wasn't a problem until the last night, when the smell came into our room as well, it was awful and smelled like sewage. We hardly slept at all, and opening the window only helped a little. We discovered the smell was coming from the room next to ours (furthest down […] the hall). The morning after we had to call the owners because there was nobody there to check us out, even though this was planned beforehand. So we waited about 20min before we could get out of there, it seemed like forever when the whole house smelled of sewage! Accueil très chaleureux. Gérants serviables et avenants. Hotel idéalement situé. Seul regret la petite salle d'eau et ne pas prendre de douche le matin entre 7h et 10h sous peine de n'avoir que de l'eau froide. O hotel cumpriu exatamente o que prometeu. Não se trata de um hotel de luxo, mas as condições do mesmo são muito boas, sobretudo no que se refere ao atendimento. As pessoas que trabalham no hotel fizeram com que nos sentíssemos em casa! Foram extremamente gentis e educadas! O hotel fica muito bem localizado e dele é possível ir a quase todos os pontos […] a pé. Fica próximo a uma estação de metrô. Na rua do hotel, há restaurantes e supermercado. Pagamos dois euros (preço muito justo) para utilizar a Internet durante toda a hospedagem. A Internet era muito boa! Værelse lidt spatansk indrettet. Vi manglede f.eks et lille bord og 2 stole at sidde ved, når vi kom hjem fra bytur. Havde kun seng at sidde på. Desuden savnedes 2 glas til vand/vin, på badeværelse manglede hylder til toiletsager, knagerækker til håndklæder, tv var kun eet lile max 17" skærm placeret højt oppe på væg. Toute petite chambre mais confortable. Chambre sur cour tranquille (il semble qu'il y en ait d'autres qui donnent sur l'Avenue Cavour (bruyante). Petit déjeuner bof, (viennoiseries en sachets) Mais accueil charmant et très serviable. Idéalement situé tout près du Colisée, restaurants et métro.

We troffen een goed uitziende kamer, welke door de eigenaresse werd aangemerkt als de grootste en rustigste kamer aangezien deze niet aan de Via Cavour gelegen was maar aan de achterzijde. Hij was goed schoon (dagelijkse schoonmaak/bed opmaak) en inderdaad rustig. Het bed was redelijk, maar door de ontbrekende midden-balk lig je aan de zijkant hoger […] dan in het midden. Daarnaast zijn de kussens erg zacht/plat. Het ontbijt is als 'Italiaans' te beschrijven. Het bestaat uit een koekje, twee beschuitjes, wat jam, een glas multi-vitamine of jus d'orange en een kopje lauwe cappuccino. De eigenaar en eigenaresse zijn behulpzaam als je vragen hebt en spreken goed engels. Je krijgt een eigen sleutel voor de poort en het hotel, waardoor je altijd naar binnen kunt op je eigen tijd. Qua locatie is het ideaal gelegen om het Forum Romanum (op 150m), Forum Imperiali (op 300m) en het Colosseum (op 500m) te bezoeken. Metrostation Cavour ligt op 3 minuten lopen. Restaurant 'Wanted', op 1 minuut lopen in de 1e zijstraat links richting Metrostation Cavour, is een echte aanrader. Verse pasta's, goede wijnen en vriendelijk niet te opdringerig personeel (dinsdags gesloten). Read more

Доброго времени суток! Были в гостинице Сан-Даниеле с 1 по 6 апреля 2011 года. Очень удобно располоежение - 3 минуты до Коллизея по живописной улочке и 2 минуты до Форума по Виа Кавор! Месторасположение - типичный итальянский дворик есть где поставить скутер (мы брали в прокат), в парадной несколько миниотелей.
